 மனதில் பதிக்க…

Anyone who does eat my flesh and drink my blood has eternal life, and I shall raise that person up on the last day. John 6:54

எனது சதையை உண்டு என் இரத்தத்தைக் குடிப்பவர் நிலைவாழ்வைக் கொண்டுள்ளார்." யோவான் 6: 54

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

Going to church everyday and receiving the holy communion doesn't guarantee eternal life. Jesus invites us to lead a true Christian life. 

Are we ready to try attending the holy mass regularly and receive the holy communion with good preparation ? Let us think.

இயேசுவின் உடலை நற்கருணை வழியாக தினமும் உட்கொள்வதால் மட்டுமே நாம் நிலைவாழ்வுக்கு தகுதியுள்ளவர்கள் ஆவதில்லை. அதற்கான உரிய தயாரிப்பு மற்றும் கடவுளுக்கு உகந்த வாழ்க்கையை வாழவே இயேசு நம்மை அழைக்கிறார்.

முடிந்த அளவுக்கு அன்றாட திருபலியில் பங்கேற்று இறைவனின் அழியா உணவை தகுந்த முறையில் அவரின் உடலை உண்ண நாம் தயாராக உள்ளோமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

Matthew 11:25

At that time Jesus said in reply, “I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned you have revealed them to the childlike.

மத்தேயு 11:25

“தந்தையே விண்ணுக்கும் மண்ணுக்கும் ஆண்டவர் உம்மைப் போற்றுகின்றேன். ஏனெனில் விண்ணரசின் மறைபொருளைக் குழந்தைகளுக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினீர். 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

Just as Jesus gave importance to children, let us give priority to all the children. Shall we be a living role model for them? 

இயேசு ஆண்டவர் குழந்தைகளுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுத்தது போல் நாமும் நம் கண் முன் உள்ள எல்லா குழந்தைகளுக்கும் முன்னுரிமை தருவோம். அவர்களின் நல்வாழ்வுக்கு வழி காட்ட நாமும் வாழ்ந்து காட்டுவோமா?

மத்தேயு 19: 4.

“படைப்பின் தொடக்கத்திலேயே கடவுள் ஆணும், பெண்ணுமாக அவர்களைப் படைத்தார்”

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

God is always faithful to His covenant. Through the sacrament of marriage, shall we be a living example of the covenant between God and man. 

இறைவன் தம் உடன்படிக்கையில் என்றென்றும் பிரமாணிக்கமாய் நிலைத்து நிற்கின்றார். ஆகவே திருமணம் இறைவனுக்கு மனிதனுக்கும் உள்ள உறவுக்கு சான்று பகர வேண்டியது அவசியமாகின்றது.

Blessed are you who believed that what was spoken to you by the Lord would be fulfilled.

லூக்கா 1: 45.

“ஆண்டவர் உமக்கு சொன்னதை நிறைவேறும் என்று நம்பிய நீர் பேறுபெற்றவர்” என்றார்.

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

Mary's ascension is a foreshadowing of what will happen to all who believe in God. Like Mother Mary, shall we live with faith and humility in God.

அன்னை மரியாளின் விண்ணேற்பு இறைவனை நம்பும் அத்தனை பேருக்கும் என்ன நிகழும் என்பதற்கான முன்னடையாளமாக இருக்கின்றது. அன்னை மரியாவை போல நாமும் இறைவன் மேல் முழு நம்பிக்கையும்,  தாழ்ச்சியும் கொண்டு வாழ்வோம்.

Matthew: 18:15

“If your brother sins [against you], go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother.

மத்தேயு 18:15 .

“  உங்கள் சகோதர சகோதரிகளுள் ஒருவர் உங்களுக்கு எதிராக பாவம் செய்தால் நீங்களும் அவரும் தனித்திருக்கும் போது அவரது குற்றத்தை எடுத்துக் காட்டுங்கள்”.

Genuine relationships are essential for the family and for the church. God calls us to protect our relationships by resolving the conflicts.

குடும்பத்திலும் திரு அவையிலும் புனிதமான உறவுகள் அவசியமானவை என்றும் ஏதேனும் மனத்தாங்கல்கள் இருந்தால் அவற்றை சரி செய்து உறவுகளை பாதுகாக்கவே இறைவன் அழைக்கின்றார், எனவே நாமும் நமது உறவுகளைப் பாதுகாப்போம்.

“Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children,* you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

மத்தேயு 18:3

“நீங்கள் மனந்திரும்பிச் சிறு பிள்ளைகளைப் போல் ஆகாவிட்டால் விண்ணரசில் புகமாட்டீர்கள் என உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கின்றேன்”.

God chooses people with humility and humbleness. Shall we seek to live with a mind of a child?

இறைவனின் பார்வையில் தாழ்நிலை நின்றவர் மட்டும் தான் உயர்த்தப் பெறுகின்றனர். எளியவர்  மட்டும்தான் தேர்ந்துக் கொள்ளப் பெறுகின்றனர். எனவே சிறுவர்களைப் போன்ற தாழ்மையுள்ள உள்ளத்தைக் கொண்டு வாழ முற்படுவோமா?

“நம் ஆண்டவர் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மாட்சியை நீங்கள் அடையும் பொருட்டே நற்செய்தியின் வழியாக அவர் உங்களை அழைத்தார்”.2தெசலோ 2:14

We can enter the heavenly life only after our death. Shall we prepare ourselves in this world by following God's word by obeying its laws and regulations..?

மனிதன் மரணம் எனும் நுழைவாயிலில் நுழைந்தே மறுமையில் பங்கெடுக்க முடியும். எனவே இவ்வுலக வாழ்வில் இறைவார்த்தையை பின்பற்றி அதன் சட்டத்திட்டங்களையும் விதிமுறைகளையும் கடைபிடித்து மறுமையில் இயேசுவோடு வாழ நம்மை தயார் படுத்துவோமா..?

மனதில் பதிக்க…

John 6:51 : I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.

யோவான் 6:51

விண்ணகத்திலிருந்து இறங்கி வந்த வாழ்வு தரும் உணவு நானே இந்த உணவை எவராவது உண்டால் அவர் என்றுமே வாழ்வார் என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர்.

Every day, Jesus gives himself to us in the Eucharist. Today's readings invite us to surrender ourselves to our Lord.

இயேசு தன்னையே உணவாக ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நற்கருணையில் கொடுத்து 

கொண்டிருக்கிறார்.  நற்கருணை ஆண்டவரை நம் வாழ்வில் எல்லாமாக கொண்டு வாழ இன்றைய வாசகங்கள் நமக்கு அழைப்பு விடுக்கின்றன.

Jesus said to his disciples: “Amen, amen, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain of wheat; but if it dies, it produces much fruit. John 12:24

இயேசு தம் சீடர்களுக்குக் கூறியது: “கோதுமை மணி மண்ணில் விழுந்து மடியாவிட்டால் அது அப்படியே இருக்கும். அது மடிந்தால்தான் மிகுந்த விளைச்சலை அளிக்கும் என உறுதியாகஉங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்.” யோவான் 12:24

When we give of ourselves to God, be it time, talent, or treasure, what we give is multiplied and becomes a source of abundance shortly after.

நாம் நம்மிடம் உள்ளதை ( அது நேரம், திறமை அல்லது செல்வம் எதுவாக இருந்தாலும்) கடவுளுக்கு கொடுக்கும் போது, அது பன்மடங்கு அதிகரித்து, நமக்கே ஆசீர்வாதமாக திரும்பி வரும்.

Jesus said to his disciples, What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? Matthew 16:26

இயேசு தம் சீடரைப் பார்த்து, “மனிதர் உலகம் முழுவதையும் ஆதாயமாக்கிக் கொண்டாலும் தம் வாழ்வையே இழப்பாரெனில் அவருக்குக் கிடைக்கும் பயன் என்ன?” மத்தேயு 16:26

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

It doesn’t matter if we are rich or poor, Jesus will repay us only when we feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, cloth the naked, visit the sick and imprisoned, and bury the dead.

நாம் செல்வமுடையவரா இல்லாதவரா என்பது முக்கியமல்ல, பசியுள்ளவர்களுக்கு உணவளிக்கும் போது,  வீடற்றவர்களுக்கு அடைக்கலம் கொடுக்கும் போது,  ஆடையில்லாமல் இருப்பவர்களை உடுத்தும் போது,  நோயாளிகள் மற்றும் சிறையில் உள்ளவர்களை பார்க்கும் போது, இறந்தவர்களை அடக்கம் செய்யும் போது மட்டுமே இயேசு நம்மை இறுதி நாட்களில் நினைவு கூறுவார்.
