ஆண்டவரே, இரக்கமாயிரும்; ஏனெனில் நாங்கள் பாவம் செய்தோம்.- திருப்பாடல்கள் 51:1a

 Be merciful, O Lord, for we have sinned. - Psalm 51:3a

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

தனது குற்றத்தை உணர்ந்த தாவீதின் பாடல் வரிகள் இவை. ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நாமும் குற்றங்கள் பல புரிந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறோம். பாவ மன்னிப்பு அருட்சாதனம் வழியாக கடவுள் தருகின்ற மன்னிப்பை இரக்கத்தின் காலமாகிய இந்த தவக் காலத்திலே பெற முயற்சி செய்வோமா?

Above are the words of David when he realized his mistakes. As part of our lives, we sin many times. Realizing that we receive God's mercy during the sacrament of confession, shall we make an effort to go for confession during this season of lent?

நோயற்றவர்க்கு அல்ல, நோயுற்றவர்க்கே மருத்துவர் தேவை. நேர்மையாளர்களை அல்ல, பாவிகளையே மனம் மாற அழைக்க வந்தேன்” என்றார். - லூக்கா 5:31,32

“Those who are healthy do not need a physician, but the sick do. I have not come to call the righteous to repentance but sinners.” - Luke 5:31,32

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நமது அன்றாட வாழ்க்கையிலே, மனிதர்களின் தேவைகளை அறிந்து செயல்படவும், தவறான வழியிலே செல்கின்றவர்களை கண்டு ஓதுங்காமல் அவர்களை சரியான பாதையில் கொண்டு வரவும், அவர்களின் மனமாற்றத்திற்கும் உதவிசெய்யலாமா?

In our daily lives, shall we act on the needs of people, guide them to the right path, and help them change their minds, rather than just criticizing those who are going the wrong way?

கொடுமைத் தளைகளை அவிழ்ப்பதும், நுகத்தின் பிணையல்களை அறுப்பதும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டோரை விடுதலை செய்து அனுப்புவதும், எவ்வகை நுகத்தையும் உடைப்பதும் அன்றோ நான் தேர்ந்துகொள்ளும் நோன்பு! - எசாயா 58:6 

Is this not, rather, the fast that I choose: releasing those bound unjustly, untying the thongs of the yoke; Setting free the oppressed, breaking off every yoke? - Isaiah 58:6

நமது உணவை ஒறுத்துதலோ, உடைமைகளை மற்றவர்களுக்கு தியாகம் பண்ணுவதோ அல்ல நோன்பு; நீதிக்காக நிற்பதும், உண்மையுடன் இருப்பதும், நேர்மைக்காக உழைப்பதும் மற்றவர்களின் உள்ளங்களை நோகடிக்காமல் காப்பதையும் இறைவன் விரும்புகின்றார். எனவே சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம் ...

Fasting is not about denying our food or sacrificing our possessions for others; God wants us to stand for justice, be truthful, work for honesty, and protect the hearts of others from harm. Shall we think and act…

பின்பு அவர் அனைவரையும் நோக்கிக் கூறியது: “என்னைப் பின்பற்ற விரும்பும் எவரும் தன்னலம் துறந்து தம் சிலுவையை நாள்தோறும் தூக்கிக் கொண்டு என்னைப் பின்பற்றட்டும் - லூக்கா 9:23

If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. - Luke 9: 23

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நமது அன்றாடம் வாழ்வில் நாம் சந்திக்கின்ற பிரச்சினைகள், போராட்டங்கள், தோல்விகள், சங்கடங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் இயேசுவுக்காக பொறுமையோடு ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுவோமா?

Shall we patiently accept all the problems, struggles, failures, and embarrassments we encounter in our daily lives for Jesus' sake?

மக்கள் பார்க்க வேண்டுமென்று அவர்கள்முன் உங்கள் அறச் செயல்களைச் செய்யாதீர்கள். -மத்தேயு 6:1 

Take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them; - Matthew 6:1

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நாம் செய்கின்ற செபங்கள், தப முயற்சிகள், தர்மங்கள் எல்லாம் மனிதர் பார்ப்பதற்காகவே செய்வோமென்றால் இறைவனுகும் நமக்கும் இருக்கின்ற  தொடர்பு விலகிப்போகின்றது. எனவே இந்த தவக்காலத்திலே இறைவனோடு ஆழமான தொடர்பை வளர்த்துக்கொள்வோமா?

If we do all our prayers, penances, and charity just for people to see, our intimacy with God will be lost. Shall we cultivate a deeper communion with Him during this Lent?

பரிசேயர், ஏரோதியர் ஆகியோரது புளிப்பு மாவைக் குறித்து மிகவும் கவனமாயிருங்கள்” என்று அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டார். - மாற்கு 8:15

“Watch out, guard against the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.” - Mark 8:15

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

உலகத்தை சார்ந்த எண்ணங்களாகிய பணம், பதவி , அதிகாரம் போன்ற தீமைகளிலிருந்து நாம் மிகவும் கவனமாயிருக்கும்படி இயேசு ஆண்டவர் பனிக்கிறார். நாமும் பாவத்தில் விழாமல், கடவுளின் அரசுக்கு முன்னுரிமை கொடுத்து அதில் நுழைய முயற்சி எடுப்போமா?

Jesus warns us to be careful of the evils of worldly thoughts such as money, designations, and power. Shall we try not to fall into sin, but rather give priority to the kingdom of God and strive to enter it?

இந்தத் தலைமுறையினர் அடையாளம் கேட்பதேன்? இத்தலைமுறையினருக்கு அடையாளம் எதுவும் கொடுக்கப்படமாட்டாது என உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்” என்றார்.  - மாற்கு 8:12 

“Why does this generation seek a sign? Amen, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation.” - Mark 8:12

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நாம் பெற்றுக் கொள்கின்ற அனைத்து நன்மைத்தனங்களும் இறைவனிடமிருந்தே வருகின்றது என்று நன்கு தெரிந்து கொண்டாலும் அவரிடத்தில் நம்பிக்கையற்றவர்களாகவே  இருக்கின்றோம். எனவே முழு நம்பிக்கையுடன் அவரிடத்தில் செல்லலாமா?

Even though we know that all the good things we receive come from God, we still lack faith in Him. Shall we go to Him with full faith?

மனிதர்முன் வாழ்வும் சாவும் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. எதை அவர்கள் விரும்புகிறார்களோ அதுவே அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும். - சீராக் 15:17

Before everyone are life and death, whichever they choose will be given them. - Sirach 15:17

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நன்மையும் தீமையையும் அறிந்து செயல்படுகின்ற சுதந்திரத்தை இறைவன் நமக்கு  கொடுத்திருக்கின்றார். எனவே எதைச் செய்தாலும் இறைவன் அனைத்தையும் காண்கிறார் என்றும் அவருக்கு கணக்குக் கொடுக்க வேண்டியவர்களாகவே நாம் இருக்கின்றோம் என்பதையும் சிந்தித்து செயல்படுவோம்.

God has given us the freedom to know good and evil and act accordingly. Therefore, let us act with the understanding that no matter what we do, God sees everything and that we are accountable to Him.

பின்பு அந்த ஏழு அப்பங்களையும் எடுத்து, கடவுளுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி, பிட்டு, பரிமாறும்படி தம் சீடர்களிடம் கொடுக்க, அவர்களும் மக்களுக்கு அளித்தார்கள். - மாற்கு 8:6

 

Then, taking the seven loaves, he gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to distribute, and they distributed them to the crowd. - Mark 8:6

 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

 

அற்புதத்தை நிகழ்த்துவதற்கு முன், இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தேவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தினார். நாமும் நம் வாழ்க்கையின் அனைத்து அம்சங்களிலும் அவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்த வேண்டாமா?

 

Before performing the miracle, Jesus Christ gave thanks to God. Shall we also give thanks to Him in all aspects of our lives?

இவர் எத்துணை நன்றாக யாவற்றையும் செய்து வருகிறார்! காதுகேளாதோர் கேட்கவும் பேச்சற்றோர் பேசவும் செய்கிறாரே! - மாற்கு 7:37

He has done all things well.  He makes the deaf hear and the mute speak."-Mark 7:37

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கடவுள் ஒருபோதும் உங்களைத் தன் சித்தத்தைச் செய்ய வற்புறுத்த மாட்டார். அவர் மெதுவாக பெருமூச்சு விடுகிறார்; தம்மால் உங்கள் நலனுக்காக செய்யப்பட்ட செயல்களை நீங்கள் கண்டு, தாழ்மையுடன் சரணடைவதற்காக அவர் பொறுமையுடன் காத்திருக்கிறார். அன்பினால், இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அவர்களின் பாதங்களில் நீங்கள் சரணடையத் தயாரா?

God will never force you to do His will. He sighs; He waits patiently for when seeing the works that He has done in your favor, you surrender humbled, you surrender out of love, to the feet of Jesus. Are you willing to do it?
