 மனதில் பதிக்க…

Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are an obstacle to me. You are thinking not as God does, but as human beings do." Matthew 16:23

ஆனால் இயேசு பேதுருவைத் திரும்பிப் பார்த்து, “என் கண்முன் நில்லாதே சாத்தானே, நீ எனக்குத் தடையாய் இருக்கிறாய்; ஏனெனில் நீ கடவுளுக்கு ஏற்றவை பற்றி எண்ணாமல் மனிதருக்கு ஏற்றவை பற்றியே எண்ணுகிறாய்” என்றார். மத்தேயு 16:23 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

Satan causes fear and confusion about our future. We shall trust that God only can help us overcome the fear and confusion and face the future with courage and confidence.

சாத்தான், நமது எதிர்காலத்தைப் பற்றிய பயத்தையும் குழப்பத்தையும் ஏற்படுத்துகிறான். கடவுளால் மட்டுமே நமது பயத்தையும் குழப்பத்தையும் போக்க முடியும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையுடன் எதிர்காலத்தை நோக்கி மனவுறுதியுடன் பயணிப்போம்.

Then Jesus said to her in reply, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish.” Matthew 15:28

இயேசு மறுமொழியாக, “அம்மா, உமது நம்பிக்கை பெரிது. நீர் விரும்பியவாறே உமக்கு நிகழட்டும்”என்று அவரிடம் கூறினார். மத்தேயு 15:28

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

Like that Canaanite woman, we need to trust in God’s ability, humble ourselves before his almighty, and pray with perseverance, and God will always answer our prayers according to his holy will.

அந்த கானானியப் பெண்ணைப் போலவே, நாமும் கடவுளால் முடியும் என்று நம்பிக்கை வைத்து, எல்லாம் வல்ல நம் ஆண்டவருக்கு முன்பாக நம்மைத் தாழ்த்தி, விடாது ஜெபிக்கும் போது, ஆண்டவர் எப்போதும் அவருடைய திருவுளப்படி நம்முடைய ஜெபங்களுக்குப் பதிலளிப்பார்.

Then a cloud came, casting a shadow over them; from the cloud came a voice, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.” Mark 9:7

அப்போது ஒரு மேகம் வந்து அவர்கள் மேல் நிழலிட அந்த மேகத்தினின்று, “என் அன்பார்ந்த மைந்தர் இவரே; இவருக்குச் செவிசாயுங்கள்” என்று ஒரு குரல் ஒலித்தது. மாற்கு 9:7

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

To face hard times in our life without fear and confusion, we need to listen to our Lord Jesus in every way, in addition to acknowledging the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

நம் வாழ்வில் கடினமான நேரங்களை பயம் மற்றும் குழப்பம் இல்லாமல் எதிர்கொள்ள, நம் ஆண்டவர் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் தெய்வீகத்தன்மையை ஒப்புக்கொள்வதுடன், எல்லா வகையிலும் நாம் அவருக்கு செவிசாய்த்து வாழ வேண்டும்.

Jesus said to them, "There is no need for them to go away; give them some food yourselves." Matthew 14:16

இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “அவர்கள் செல்ல வேண்டியதில்லை; நீங்களே அவர்களுக்கு உணவு கொடுங்கள்” என்றார். மத்தேயு 14:16

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

We are called to share the spiritual gifts that we received with others so that they do not go anywhere. Despite their weakness, apostles were able to share the God’s word that they received, by an act of obedience to God. Therefore, we can seek help from God through prayers and obedience to eliminate our weaknesses and share the living word of God.

நாம் பெற்ற இறைவார்த்தை என்னும் அருட்கொடையை பிறருடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள நாம் அழைக்கப்படுகிறோம், இதனால் அவர்கள் வேறு எங்கும் செல்ல வேண்டியதில்லை. பலவீனமாக இருந்தபோதிலும், அப்போஸ்தலர்கள் கீழ்ப்படிதலின் மூலம் அவர்கள் பெற்ற இறைவார்த்தையை பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள முடிந்தது. எனவே, நமது பலவீனங்களை நீக்கி, ஆண்டவரின் உயிருள்ள வார்த்தையைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள ஜெபங்கள் மற்றும் கீழ்ப்படிதல் மூலம் நாம் ஆண்டவருடைய உதவியை பெறுவோம்.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst.” John 6:35

இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “வாழ்வு தரும் உணவு நானே. என்னிடம் வருபவருக்குப் பசியே இராது; என்னிடம் நம்பிக்கை கொண்டிருப்பவருக்கு என்றுமே தாகம் இராது” என்றார்.  யோவான் 6:35 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

We need to renounce worldly desires, renew our spiritual life, have unconditional faith in God, and follow Jesus’ teachings to endure eternal life.

நாம் உலக ஆசைகளைத் துறந்து, ஆன்மீக வாழ்வைப் புதுபித்து, ஆண்டவர் மீது நிபந்தனையற்ற விசுவாசம் கொண்டு, இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் போதனைகளை கடைபிடித்து, நிலையான பேரின்ப வாழ்வை அடைவோம்.

Herod said to his attendants "“This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead! That is why miraculous powers are at work in him.”

ஏரோது, தன் ஊழியரிடம், “இவர் திருமுழுக்கு யோவான்தான். இறந்த யோவானைக் கடவுள் உயிர்பெற்றெழச் செய்தார். இதனால்தான் இந்த வல்ல செயல்களை இவர் செய்கிறார்” என்று கூறினான்.

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

Herod, felt regret and fear over John the Baptist’s beheading. This is reminding us to surrender our minds and hearts to our Lord and ask for His mercy to penetrate into our hearts that will bring peace to us.Righteouness and Truthfullness will always lead to fear and destruction of the bad people. 

 

ஏரோது, ஜான் பாப்டிஸ்ட் தலை துண்டிக்கப்பட்டதற்கு வருத்தமும் பயமும் அடைந்தார். இது நம் மனதையும் இதயத்தையும் இறைவனிடம் ஒப்படைக்க நினைவூட்டுகிறது. அவருடைய கருணை நம் இதயங்களில் ஊடுருவி, அமைதி தருமாறு வேண்டுவோம்.நேர்மையும், உண்மையும்  எந்த தீய சக்தியையும் அச்சுறுத்தி  கொண்டு இருக்கும். அதனால் தான் ஏரோது அச்சமடைந்தான் . நம் வாழ்வில் நேர்மையும் உண்மையும் இருந்தால் தர்மம் தலை தூக்கும்.

இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “தம் சொந்த ஊரிலும் வீட்டிலும் தவிர மற்றெங்கும் இறைவாக்கினர் மதிப்புப் பெறுவர்” என்றார். மத் 13:57

Our mission is to recognize God's presence in everyone we meet everyday. We strive to see Him more clearly by over looking others' faults and weaknesses. That is how we celebrate His greatness. 

 

நாம் தினமும் சந்திக்கும் ஒவ்வொருவரிடமும் கடவுளின் பிரசன்னத்தை காண்பதை நோக்கமாக கொண்டுள்ளோம். மற்றவர்களின் தவறுகள் மற்றும் பலவீனங்களைக் கடந்து, அவர்களை தெளிவாகக் காண முயல்வதன் மூலம் கடவுளின் மகத்துவத்தை உணர்கிறோம்.

Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, house of Israel (Jer 18:6)

 குயவன் கையிலுள்ள களிமண்ணைப் போல இஸ்ரயேல் வீட்டாரே, நீங்கள் என் கையில் இருக்கின்றீர்கள் (எரே 18:6)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க...

As the potter shapes up the vessels, God is shaping us every day. This is so encouraging. All we have to do is to let Him shape us. 

குயவன் மண்கலசத்தை வடிவமைகப்பது போல, கடவுள் ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் நம்மை வடிவமைக்கிறார் என்பதை அறிவது மிகவும் ஊக்கமளிக்கிறது. நாம் செய்ய வேண்டியது எல்லாம் அவர் நம்மை வடிவமைக்க அனுமதிப்பது மட்டும்.

Psalms 23:

 [0] A Psalm of David.
[1] The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want;
[2] he makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters;
[3] he restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
[4] Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil;
for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff,
they comfort me.
[5] Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
thou anointest my head with oil,
my cup overflows.
[6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life;

Reflections:

1.     How does God guide us? 

2.     What do you think about God’s house and table he sets for us will be in your opinion here on earth?

3.     What we need to be aware of and prepare ourselves to eat at that table?

5.     Do you think God is really your Good Shepard through your Dad, Mom or a friend?

1.     Have you felt guilt feelings when you did something wrong?

2.     Have you felt sorry for what you have done?

3.     If you are sorry have you made effort to go for confession?

4.     Have you felt your sins have been forgiven and what is the sign you get from Him?

5.     Have you shared that you are being forgiven with others and try to help others from their wrong doings?

Anbiyam reflection for October

Themes: 1 Our Lady of Rosary; 2. Bearing Good fruits as Christians.

You may choose any of the two or both themes for your reflection

1. Our Lady of Rosary: In 1571 The Turkish army wanted to invade Holy land. There was big battle at Lepanto, where the Turks were defeated because Pope Pius V asked the Christian defenders to say the Rosary devotedly. The result was theTurks had to flee. Thus. Pop Pius stated this feast. 
2. For your reflection: Do you say Rosary everyday with your family?
3. Do you encourage your family to say?
4. Have a discussion within your Anbiyam about Mary's role in the life our family
