மனதில் பதிக்க… 

தம்மைத்தாமே உயர்த்துவோர் யாவரும் தாழ்த்தப்பெறுவர்; தம்மைத்தாமே தாழ்த்துவோர் உயர்த்தப் பெறுவர். லூக்கா 14: 1, 7-14

For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted. Luke 14:1, 7-14

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

உண்மையான விருந்தோம்பல் என்பது ஏழைகள், நோயாளிகள் மற்றும் தேவையில் உள்ளவர்களை அழைப்பது என்று இயேசு நமக்குக் கற்பிக்கிறார். நாம் கைம்மாறு எதிர்பார்க்காமல் மற்றவர்களுக்கு உதவும்போது, பரலோகத்தில் நமக்கு பரிசு கிடைக்கும் என்று கடவுள் வாக்குறுதி அளிக்கிறார். எந்த ஒரு  எதிர்ப்பார்ப்பும் இல்லாத கடவுளின் அழைப்பை பிரதிபலிக்க நாம் தயாராக உள்ளோமா? 

Jesus teaches us that true hospitality is about inviting people who are poor, sick and in need. When we help others without expecting anything in return, God promises we will be rewarded in heaven. Are we willing to mirror God's invitation to us, who come to His table empty-handed?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

“உள்ளவனெவனோ அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும், பரிபூரணமும் அடைவான்; இல்லாதவனிடத்திலிருந்து உள்ளதும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும்”. மத்தேயு 25:29

For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away. Matthew 25: 29

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

Our Lord rewards those who use their talents well. Let us seek to serve God with the gifts, talents, and graces He has given us.

தங்கள் திறமைகளை நன்கு பயன்படுத்துபவர்களுக்கு நம் இறைவன் வெகுமதி அளிக்கிறார். அவர் நமக்குக் கொடுத்த வரங்கள், திறமைகள் மற்றும் அருளால் பணி செய்ய முற்படுவோம்.

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

“எனவே விழிப்பாய் இருங்கள்; ஏனெனில் அவர் வரும் நாளோ, வேளையோ உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாது”. மத்தேயு 25: 13

Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.  Matthew 25: 13

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

தயாராக இல்லாமல் இருப்பதில் விளைவுகள் உண்டு என்று இயேசு நம்மை எச்சரிக்கிறார். இன்று நாம் அவருக்குச் செவிசாய்த்து, தீர்ப்பு நாளில், அவரை நேரில் சந்திக்கத் தயாராவோமா?

Jesus warns us that there are consequences for being unprepared. May we start listening to Him today and be prepared to meet the Lord, face to face, on the day of judgment?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

“எனவே நீங்களும் ஆயத்தமாய் இருங்கள். ஏனெனில் நீங்கள் நினையாத நேரத்தில் மானிட மகன் வருவார்”. மத்தேயு 24: 44

“Therefore you also must be ready; for the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect”.  Matthew 24: 44

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இயேசு திரும்பி வரும் அந்த நாள், அவரைச் சந்திக்கத் தயாராக இருப்பவர்களுக்கு மகிழ்ச்சியும் சமாதானமும் நிறைந்ததாக இருக்கும். நாம் அவரைச் சந்திக்கத் தயாரா!

That day when the Lord Jesus returns will be joy and peace for those who are prepared to meet him. Are we ready to meet the Lord!

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

“வெளிவேடக்கார மறைநூல் அறிஞரே, பரிசேயரே, ஐயோ! உங்களுக்குக் கேடு! ஏனெனில் நீங்கள் வெள்ளையடித்த கல்லறைகளுக்கு ஒப்பானவர்கள். அவை புறம்பே அழகாகத் தோற்றமளிக்கின்றன; அவற்றின் உள்ளேயோ இறந்தவர்களின் எலும்புகளும் எல்லா வகையான அழுக்குகளும் நிறைந்திருக்கின்றன”. மத்தேயு 23: 27

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for you are like white washed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness.  Matthew 23: 27

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

நாம் மற்றவர்களைப் பற்றி சிந்திக்கும் விதத்தையும் அவர்களை நடத்தும் விதத்தையும் இதயம் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. உண்மையான அழகு மற்றும் பக்தி உள்ளிருந்து வருகிறது, கடவுளின் வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு கீழ்ப்படிவது நிலைநிறுத்தப்பட்ட மனதிலிருந்து வருகிறது.

The heart reveals the way we think of others and treat them. True beauty, and piety come from within the mind that is set on hearing and obeying God's word.

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

குருட்டுப் பரிசேயரே, முதலில் கிண்ணத்தின் உட்புறத்தைத் தூய்மையாக்குங்கள். அப்பொழுது அதன் வெளிப்புறமும் தூய்மையாகும். மத்தேயு 23: 26

You blind Pharisee! first cleanse the inside of the cup and of the plate, that the outside also may be clean.  Matthew 23: 26

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

மக்களிடையே அதிக கௌரவங்கள், சலுகைகள் மற்றும் சலுகைகளைப் பெறுவது போன்ற கவனிக்காத பகுதிகள், கடவுளின் அரசு மற்றும் அவரது வழியைப் பற்றிய நமது பார்வையை மங்கலாக்க அனுமதிக்கிறோமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

Let us not let any blind-spots like winning greater honors, privileges, and favors among the people to blur our vision of God's kingdom and His way.

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

“வெளிவேடக்கார மறைநூல் அறிஞரே, பரிசேயரே, ஐயோ! உங்களுக்குக் கேடு! மக்கள் நுழையாதவாறு அவர்கள் முன்பாக விண்ணக வாயிலை அடைத்துவிடுகிறீர்கள்; நீங்கள் நுழைவதில்லை, நுழைவோரையும் விடுவதில்லை”. மத்தேயு 23: 13

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you shut the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither enter yourselves, nor allow those who would enter to go in.  Matthew 23: 13

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

கடவுள் அவர் அரசுக்கு, நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் ஒரு திறந்த கதவை வழங்குகிறார் என்பதை நாம் உறுதியாக நம்புவோம். இயேசு நம் இதயக் கதவைத் தட்டும்போது, நாம் அவருக்குப் பதிலளிக்கவும் அவரைப் பெறவும் தயாராக இருக்கிறோமா?

The Lord offers each one of us an open door to the kingdom of God. Let us strongly believe this. When the Lord Jesus knocks on the door of your heart are you ready to answer and receive Him?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

“இடுக்கமான வாயில் வழியாக நுழைய வருந்தி முயலுங்கள். ஏனெனில் பலர் உள்ளே செல்ல முயன்றும் இயலாமற்போகும்”. லூக்கா 13:24

“Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able”. Luke 13:24

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

கதவு நமக்கு கடவுளுடைய அரசைப் பற்றிச் சொல்கிறது. நாம் விசுவாசத்துடனும் ஒழுக்கத்துடனும் இருப்பதன் மூலம் குறுகிய வாசலில் மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் விண்ணரசில் நுழைவோம்.

The door speaks to us about the kingdom of God. Let us strive to enter the narrow door by being faithful and disciplined, so that we may joyfully enter in.

 “உங்களுள் பெரியவர் உங்களுக்குத் தொண்டராக இருக்க வேண்டும்.”  -  மத்தேயு 23:11

“The greatest among you must be your servant." Matthew 23:11

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

கிறிஸ்துவர்களும், நம் கிறிஸ்துவ மதமும் தொண்டு ஆற்ற பிரசித்தி பெற்றது. நம் கடவுளாம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவும் அதை வாழ்ந்து காட்டியது மட்டுமில்லாமல் அதனையே நமக்கு கட்டளையாகவும் அளித்தார். இயேசுவை பின்பற்றும் நாமும் அவர் கட்டளையை பின்பற்றி பிறருக்கு தொண்டாற்றுவதை நம் வழக்கமாக்கி கொள்வோமா?

Christianity and we Christians are very popular in the field of servicing. Our Lord Jesus Christ preached and practiced the same and also gave it as a commandment to us. We the followers of Christ, can we also try to obey the commandment and make it a habit to serve others?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

 “ உன்மீது நீ அன்பு கூர்வது போல உனக்கு அடுத்திருப்பவர்மீதும் அன்பு கூர்வாயாக”  -  மத்தேயு 22:37

“You must love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

அன்பு தான் நமது கிறிஸ்துவத்தின் அடித்தளம்.. இயேசு கிறிஸ்து நம்மேல் கொண்டு அளவு கடந்த அன்பினால் நமக்காக, நம் பாவங்களுக்காக சிலுவை சாவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு நமக்கு நிலை வாழ்வை பெற்றுக்கொடுத்தார்.. நாமும் அவரை போல் அனைவரையும் அன்பு செய்து இறையாட்சியை மண்ணில் நிறுவ  முயற்சிப்போமா?

Love is the foundation of Christianity. Jesus Christ loved us so much that He took up the Cross and died for us and our sins to give us eternal life. Can we also love like Him and install the kingdom of God on earth?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

 “ அழைப்புப் பெற்றவர்கள் பலர், ஆனால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களோ சிலர்”  -  மத்தேயு 22:14

“For many are invited but not all are chosen." Matthew 22:14

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

கிறிஸ்துவராய் பிறந்த நாம் அனைவருமே இயேசு கற்றுக்கொடுத்த பாதையில் நடந்து அவர் வாக்களித்த நிலை வாழ்வை பெற அழைப்பை பெற்றவர்கள். அவர் கற்பித்ததை போல வாழ்ந்து அவரின் தேர்ந்துக்கொள்ள பட்ட மக்களாய் மாற முயல்வோமா?

Everyone of us born as Christians have been invited to know about Jesus Christ and lead a life like Him and receive the promised rewards of Eternal life. Are we ready to follow His preaching and become His Chosen people?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

 “ எனக்குரியதை நான் என் விருப்பப்படி கொடுக்கக் கூடாதா? அல்லது நான் நல்லவனாய் இருப்பதால் உமக்குப் பொறாமையா?’ என்றார்.”  -  மத்தேயு 20:15

“Have I no right to do what I like with my own? Why should you be envious because I am generous?" Matt 20:15

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

கடவுள் அவர் திட்டத்தின் படி நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் ஆசீர் அளித்து நம்மை வழிநடத்துகிறார். பல நேரங்களில் நமக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்ட ஆசிரால் மன நிறைவு அடையாமல் பிறருக்கு கொடுக்கப்பட்டதை நினைத்து பொறாமை கொண்டு வாழ்கிறோம். கடவுளிடம் இருந்து அன்றாடம் பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் ஏராளமான ஆசிருக்காக இயேசுவுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி வாழ்வோமா?

God blesses each one of us as per his plan and guides us each day. But many times, we don't get content/satisfied with God's blessings and often get jealous seeing what others have been blessed with and fail to thank the almighty God for his generous blessings. Can we try to thank God every day and lead a contented life with God?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

 “ என் பெயரின் பொருட்டு வீடுகளையோ, சகோதரர்களையோ, சகோதரிகளையோ, தந்தையையோ, தாயையோ, பிள்ளைகளையோ, நில புலங்களையோ விட்டுவிட்ட எவரும் நூறு மடங்காகப் பெறுவர். நிலை வாழ்வையும் உரிமைப் பேறாக அடைவர்.”  - மத்தேயு 19:29

“And everyone who has left houses, brothers, sisters, father, mother, children or land for the sake of my name will receive a hundred times as much and also inherit eternal life.”- Matthew - 19:29

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

கிறிஸ்துவராக பிறந்த நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்குமே கடவுளின் பணியை தொடர கடமை உள்ளது.. அவருடைய பணியில் நம்மை ஈடுப்படுத்திக்கொண்டு நிலை வாழ்வை பெற முயல்வோமா?

As baptized Christians, we have the duty to spread the word of God in this world. Can we try to involve ourselves in the mission of God and make ourselves eligible to inherit the eternal life?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

 “நிறைவுள்ளவராக விரும்பினால் நீர் போய், உம் உடைமைகளை விற்று ஏழைகளுக்குக் கொடும். அப்பொழுது விண்ணகத்தில் நீர் செல்வராய் இருப்பீர்.”  - மத்தேயு 19:20

Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. - Matthew - 19:20

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

கடவுள் நம் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் அவர் அவர் தேவைக்கேற்ப ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார். நமக்கு கடவுளின் ஆசீர் வழியாக கிடைத்த செல்வதை இல்லாதவர்க்கு பகிர்ந்து அளித்து அவரின் இறையாட்சிக்கு தகுதியாக்கிக் கொள்ள முயல்வோமா?

God blesses each one of us as per our needs. Are we ready to share the wealth received as blessings from God to those who are in need and make ourselves eligible for the kingdom of God?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

 “நம்மைச் சூழ்ந்து நிற்க எந்தச் சுமையையும், நம்மைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் எந்தப் பாவத்தையும் உதறித் தள்ளிவிட்டு, நமக்குக் குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள பந்தயத்தில் மன உறுதியோடு ஓடுவோமாக.”  - ( எபிரேயர் 12:1,2)

 “Throw off everything that weighs us down and the sin that clings so closely, and with perseverance keep running in the race which lies ahead of us. Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.” - (Hebrews 12:1,2)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இந்த உலகத்தில் நல்லது கெட்டது நன்மை தீமை என்று அனைத்தையும் படைத்த நம் கடவுள் நமக்கு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் உரிமையை கொடுத்துள்ளார். நாம் பாவ வழியில் செல்ல நேர்ந்தாலும் நம்மை புறம் தள்ளி விடாமல் மனம் திருந்தி கடவுளிடம் வந்தால் நம்மை அரவணைக்க ஆவலோடு இருக்கிறார். இன்றைய மாய உலகில் நிலையில்லா காரியங்களில் கவனம் சிதறி விடாமல் உண்மையான தேவனை பற்றி வாழ முயல்வோமா?

Our God has created everything in this world be it good or bad, right or wrong and He has given us the freedom to make the choice. And even if we happen to fall into sinful ways, our God is eagerly awaiting to embrace us if we repent for our sins and turn back to Him. In today's world filled with unrealistic pleasures and happiness, can we try to focus on the only true God and lead a life united with Him.

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

ஆண்டவரைக் கைவிட்டு வேற்றுத் தெய்வங்களை வணங்குவது எங்களிடத்தே அறவே நிகழாதிருப்பதாக!- யோசுவா24:16

 “Far be it from us to forsake the LORD to serve other gods. - Joshua 24:16

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

நம்மில் அநேகர் பணமும், பொருளாதார வசதியும் நம் வாழ்வை உயர்த்திவிடும் என்று நம்புகின்றோம். அதனால் அதுவே நமக்கு இன்னொரு கடவுளாகவும் மாறிவிடுகின்றன. அதை தவிர்த்து  நம்மை படைத்து பண்படுத்திய இறைவனை மட்டுமே நம்பி, அவருக்கு மட்டுமே ஆராதனை செலுத்துவோமா?

Many of us believe that money and financial comfort will elevate our lives. Therefore, it becomes another god for us. Should we instead trust only in the Lord who created and nurtured us and worship Him alone?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

அவருக்கு அஞ்சி நடப்போருக்குத் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாய் அவர் இரக்கம் காட்டி வருகிறார். - லூக்கா 1:50

His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him. - Luke 1:50 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இறைவனுடைய இரக்கம் அளவற்றது , மகத்துவம் வாய்ந்தது. அதை நாம் பெற நம்மையே தயாரிக்க வேண்டும். அன்னை மரியாளைப் பின்பற்றும் நாமும் அவரைப்போல  பாவத்திலிருந்து விலகியிருப்போம். இறைவனின் மாட்சிமையில் பங்குபெற, நம்மையே புனித வாழ்வுக்கு ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி இறை இரக்கத்தை பெறுவோம்.

God's mercy is boundless and Magnificence. We must prepare ourselves to receive it. We, who follow Mother Mary, should stay away from sins like her. Shall we prepare ourselves for a holy life and receive divine mercy to enter the kingdom of God.

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

உங்களுள் ஒவ்வொருவரும் தம் சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளை மனமார மன்னிக்காவிட்டால் விண்ணுலகில் இருக்கும் என் தந்தையும் உங்களை மன்னிக்க மாட்டார்." - மத்தேயு 18:35

So will my heavenly Father do to you, unless each of you forgives his brother from his heart.” - Matthews 18:35

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

மன்னிப்பு வழியாக நம் கசப்பு உணர்வுகளைத் தூக்கி எறிகின்ற பொழது கடவுள் நம்  வழியாக செயல்பட ஆரம்பிக்கின்றார் என்பதை மனதில் கொண்டு யாராக இருந்தாலும் எதுவாக இருந்தாலும் மன்னித்து மறப்போம்.

When we forgive others, God begins His works through us. No matter who or for what, shall we forgive and forget all the bitter feelings against others?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

உங்கள் சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளுள் ஒருவர் உங்களுக்கு எதிராகப் பாவம் செய்தால் நீங்களும் அவரும் தனித்திருக்கும்போது அவரது குற்றத்தை எடுத்துக்காட்டுங்கள்.- மத்தேயு 18:15

If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother. - Matthew 18:15

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

உரையாடல் ஒரு உளவியல் வலிமை மிக்க அணுகுமுறை. நமது குடும்பத்தில் அல்லது சமுதாயத்தில் ஓருவர் மற்றுமொருவரிடம் கருத்து வேறுபாடு ஏற்பட்டால் உடனே கலந்து பேசி தீர்த்துக் கொள்ளவே இறைவன் பணிக்கின்றார்.  எனவே நாமும் அதை கடைபிடித்து வாழ்வோமா?

Dialogue is a psychologically powerful approach. God commands us to resolve any disagreements in our family or society by talking to each other. Shall we also resolve our conflicts using conversations?

மனதில் பதிக்க… 

இந்தச் சிறு பிள்ளையைப்போலத் தம்மைத் தாழ்த்திக்கொள்பவரே விண்ணரசில் மிகப் பெரியவர். - மத்தேயு 18:4

Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. - Matthew 18:4

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

சிறு பிள்ளைகள் கள்ளம் கபடற்றவர்கள். உண்மையை எடுத்துரைப்பவர்கள்.  அதே போன்ற தூய்மையான, தாழ்மையான உள்ளம் நமக்கு எப்போதும் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று நம் இயேசு ஆண்டவர் எடுத்துறைக்கின்றார். தூய உள்ளத்தோடும் , தாழ்மையான மனநிலையோடும் வாழ்வோமா? 

Little children are innocent and sincere. They tell the truth. Our Lord Jesus teaches us that we should always have a pure and meek heart. Shall we live with a pure heart and a humble mind?
