 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

நீங்கள் எந்த நகருக்கோ ஊருக்கோ சென்றாலும் அங்கே உங்களை ஏற்கத் தகுதியுடையவர் யாரெனக் கேட்டறியுங்கள். - மத்தேயு 10:11

Whatever town or village you enter, look for a worthy person in it - Matthew 10:11

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

நம் அனைத்து வெற்றிகள் மற்றும் தோல்விகள், மகிழ்ச்சிகள் மற்றும் இதயவலி ஆகியவற்றுடன், நாம் உலகத்தில் இன்னும் இறை மாற்றத்தை உருவாக்கலாம் அதற்காக நம்மை இறைவனுக்கு தகுதியுடையவர்களாக்கி பிறரையும் இறைவனுக்கு தகுதியுடையவர்களாக்க செயல்படுவோமா?

With our successes and failures, joys and heartaches, shall we still create a Godly change in the world by making ourselves worthy of God and working to make others worthy of God.

July 09

 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

மாறாக, வழி தவறிப்போன ஆடுகளான இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களிடமே செல்லுங்கள். அப்படிச் செல்லும்போது ‘விண்ணரசு நெருங்கி வந்துவிட்டது’ எனப் பறைசாற்றுங்கள்.” மத்தேயு 10:6,7

Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. As you go, make this proclamation: 'The Kingdom of heaven is at hand.' - Matthew 10: 6,7

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இறுதி காலகட்டத்தில் வாழ்ந்துகொண்டிருக்கும் நாம் தவறான வழியில் செல்லும் ஆன்மாக்களை மீட்டெடுக்கவும் விண்ணரசைப்பற்றி எடுத்துரைக்கவும் அதிகம் கடமைப்பட்டவர்களாகவும் அதற்காக உழைக்க வேண்டியவர்களாக இருக்கின்றோம். எனவே தாமதிக்காமல் செயல்படுவோமா?

As we near the end of the world, we have a great responsibility and duty to restore souls who are going astray and to teach them about the kingdom of heaven. So, shall we act without delay?

July 08

 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

அறுவடை மிகுதி; வேலையாள்களோ குறைவு. ஆகையால் தேவையான வேலையாள்களைத் தமது அறுவடைக்கு அனுப்பும்படி அறுவடையின் உரிமையாளரிடம் மன்றாடுங்கள்” என்றார். - மத்தேயு 9:38

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest.” - Matthew 9:38

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

நாம் கோவிலுக்கு சென்று இறைவனை  தொழுவதோடு மட்டும் நின்று விடாமல், இறைவனுடைய விருப்பத்தை நிறைவேற்றுகின்றவர்களாக , அவருடைய பிறரன்பு காரியங்களை முன்வந்து செய்கின்ற சீடர்களாக வாழ்வோமா?

We should not stop by just being church goers but also live as disciples who fulfill God's will and do His works of charity.

 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

ஏனெனில் அப்பெண், “நான் அவருடைய ஆடையைத் தொட்டாலே போதும், நலம் பெறுவேன்” எனத் தமக்குள் சொல்லிக் கொண்டார். - மத்தேயு 9:21

She said to herself, "If only I can touch his cloak, I shall be cured." - Matthew 9:21

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இயேசு ஆண்டவரைத் தொடப் போவதற்கு முன்பே அந்த பெரும் பாடுடைய பெண் தன்னை தன் உள்ளதிலிருந்தே ஆயத்தப்படுத்தியது போல நாமும் திருப்பலிக்குப் போகும் போதோ அல்லது தேவ காரியங்களில் ஈடுபடும் போதோ நமது உள்ளத்தை தகுந்த ஆயத்தம்செய்துகொள்வொமா?

Just as the woman in great distress prepared herself from within before she touched the Lord Jesus, shall we also prepare our hearts appropriately when we go to Mass or engage in God's work?

 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

‘இந்த வீட்டுக்கு அமைதி உண்டாகுக!’ - லூக்கா 10:5

'Peace to this household.' - Luke 10:5

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இன்றைய சமுதாயத்தில் மக்கள் மனதில் குழப்பங்களை தான் பார்க்கிறோம். அதை அனைத்து சமூக ஊடகங்களும் ஆதாயமாக்கி கொள்கிறார்கள். உண்மையான அமைதி இறைவனிடத்தில் தான் உள்ளது என்று உணர்ந்து, நாம் ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டுக்குள் செல்லும் போதும் அமைதி உண்டாகுக என வாழ்த்துவதை பழக்கமாக்கி கொள்வோமா? 

In today's society, we see confusion in people's minds. All social media are capitalizing on it too. Shall we make it a habit to greet peace to each house we enter with the realization that true peace lies only in God?

July 05

 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

மணமகன் அவர்களை விட்டுப் பிரியவேண்டிய காலம் வரும். அப்பொழுது அவர்களும் நோன்பு இருப்பார்கள்.- மத்தேயு 9:15

The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.  - Matthew 9:9

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

அன்னை மரியா மெட்ஜுகோர்ஜேவில் 1981 ஆம் ஆண்டு தோன்றி பாவிகளின் மனமாற்றத்திற்க்காக நோன்பிருந்து செபியுங்கள் என்று கேட்டுக்கொண்டார். இவ்வுலகில் மக்கள் நல்ல உள்ளதோடு ஒருவரை ஒருவர் அன்பு செய்து வாழ செபிக்கவும் , நாம் , நம் குடும்பத்தினரையும் , அயலாரையும் ஏற்று ஒற்றுமை உணர்வுடன் வாழவும் முயல்வோமா? 

Mother Mary appeared in Medjugorje in 1981 and asked for fasting and prayer for the conversion of sinners. Let us pray for people in this world to live with good hearts and love one another, and also shall we strive to live in unity, accepting our families and neighbors?

 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

அவரிடம், “என்னைப் பின்பற்றி வா” என்றார்.- மத்தேயு 9:9

He said to him, "Follow me." - Matthew 9:9

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இன்று இறைவன் நம்மையும், “என்னைப் பின்பற்றி வா” என்று அழைக்கின்றார். மத்தேயு உடனே கீழ்ப்பணிந்தார். நம் சுமைகளை சுமந்து கொண்டு இறைத்திட்டத்திற்கு கீழ்ப்படிய நாம் தயாரா? 

Today, the Lord calls us too, “Follow me.” Matthew immediately followed Him. Are we ready to carry our burdens and obey God’s plan?

 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

தோமா அவர்களிடம், “அவருடைய கைகளில் ஆணிகளால் ஏற்பட்ட தழும்பைப் பார்த்து, அதில் என் விரலை விட்டு, அவர் விலாவில் என் கையை இட்டாலன்றி நான் நம்பமாட்டேன்” என்றார். - யோவான் 20:25

But Thomas said to them, "Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nail marks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe." - John 20:25

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

தோமாவைப் போல நாமும் இறைவனை அறிய பல ஆதாரங்களை  தேடிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். விசுவாச கண் கொண்டு மட்டுமே அவரை உணரமுடியும் என்பதை ஏற்க மறுக்கின்றோம். அவரை நம் குறுகிய அறிவியல் அறிவால்  எட்ட முடியாது என்பதை உணர்ந்து விசுவாசத்தால் அவரோடு இணைந்து நடப்போமா?

Like Thomas, we are also searching for evidence to trust God. We refuse to accept the fact that we can only understand Him through faith. Shall we realize that we cannot perceive Him with our limited scientific knowledge, but rather walk with Him by faith?

 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

உடனே நகரினர் அனைவரும் இயேசுவுக்கு எதிர் கொண்டு வந்து, அவரைக் கண்டு, தங்கள் பகுதியை விட்டு அகலுமாறு வேண்டிக்கொண்டனர். - மத்தேயு 8: 34

Thereupon the whole town came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their district. - Matthew 8: 26

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

கதரேனர் பகுதியில் வாழ்ந்த மக்களுக்கு இயேசு புரிந்த அற்புதத்தை விட தங்கள் வாழ்வாதாரகங்கள் தான் பெரியதாக தோன்றியது. நாமும் நம் வாழ்க்கையில் எதற்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுக்கிறோம் என்று சிந்திப்போம். இறைவனுக்கா அல்லது இவ்வுலக செல்வங்களுக்கா? 

For the people of the Gadarene region, their livelihoods were more important than the miracle Jesus performed. Let us also think about what we give priority in our lives. God or the riches of this world?

13th Wednesday of ordinary time - Cycle 1

July 01

 மனதில் பதிக்க… 

இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி, “நம்பிக்கை குன்றியவர்களே, ஏன் அஞ்சுகிறீர்கள்?” என்று கேட்டு, எழுந்து காற்றையும் கடலையும் கடிந்து கொண்டார். உடனே மிகுந்த அமைதி உண்டாயிற்று.- மத்தேயு 8:26

He said to them, "Why are you terrified, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm. - Matthew 8: 26

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இன்ப வேளைகளில் இறைவனை நாம் மறந்து இருந்தாலும், துன்ப வேளைகளில் நாம் அவரை நாடி செல்லும் போது இயேசு நம்மை மீண்டும் அரவணைத்து இதே கேள்வியை கேட்கிறார் : என் மகனே / மகளே ஏன் அஞ்சுகிறாய்? என்று. இறைவனின் மாபெரும் இரக்கத்தை நாம் ஒரு சலுகையாக எடுக்காமல் அவர் நமக்கு தரும் வாய்ப்பாக பயன்படுத்தி அவரிடம் நெருங்கி செல்வோமா?

Even though we forget God in times of joy, when we seek Him in times of sorrow, Jesus embraces us again and asks the same question: My son/daughter, why are you terrified? We should never take God's great mercy as granted but rather use it as an opportunity to draw closer to Him.
