என் பின்னே வாருங்கள்; நான் உங்களை மனிதரைப் பிடிப்பவர் ஆக்குவேன்- மத்தேயு 4: 19

Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men - Matthew 4: 19

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இயேசுவின் பின்னால் நாம் நடந்து செல்வதோடு மட்டும் நின்று விடாமல், அவரைப் பின்பற்றவும், அவரிடமிருந்து கற்றுக்கொள்ளவும், அவருடைய திட்டத்திற்கு அடிபணியவும், பிறரை இறைவனிடம்  அழைத்து வரவும் இன்று நமக்கு அழைப்புவிடுகின்றார். அழைப்புக்கு செவிமடுப்போமா?

Jesus calls us to follow him, not just walk behind him, but to imitate him, learn from him, submit to his plan and hold responsibility to disciple others. Are we ready to heed his call?

                                                          மனதில் பதிக்க…

விண்ணும் மண்ணும் ஒழிந்துபோகும். ஆனால் என் வார்த்தைகள் ஒழியவேமாட்டா- லூக்கா 21: 33

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away Luke 21: 33

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தை சத்தியத்தையும் பாதுகாப்பையும் வழங்குகிறது, மேலும் தீமைக்கு எதிராக நிற்கும் பாறையாகும். கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தையை தினமும் படிப்பதன் மூலம் தீமையை வெல்ல நாம் தயாரா?

The word of God offers truth and security and is a rock on which to stand against evil. Are we ready to defeat evil by reading God's word every day?

தலைநிமிர்ந்து நில்லுங்கள். ஏனெனில் உங்கள் மீட்பு நெருங்கி வருகின்றது - லூக்கா  21:28

Stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near - Luke 21:28

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

முன்னே வரப்போகும் துயரங்களில் கவனம் செலுத்துவதற்குப் பதிலாக, மீட்பைப் பற்றிய இயேசுவின் வாக்குறுதியில் கவனம் செலுத்தி, அவருடைய இரண்டாம் வருகைக்கு ஆயத்தமாவோமா?

Instead of focusing on the tragedies that will come beforehand, shall we focus on Jesus's promise on redemption and be prepared for his second coming?

                                                 மனதில் பதிக்க…

என் பெயரின் பொருட்டு எல்லாரும் உங்களை வெறுப்பார்கள். இருப்பினும் உங்கள் தலைமுடி ஒன்றுகூட விழவே விழாது- லூக்கா 21:17-18

Everyone will hate you because of me. But not a hair of your head will perish- Luke 21: 17-18

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கிறிஸ்துவைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்களாக மாற, உலகம் நம்மீது வீசும் விரக்தியையும் எதிர்ப்பையும் தாங்கிக்கொண்டு மனத்தாழ்ச்சியுடன் நம்  சிலுவையை சுமந்து கொண்டு அவருடைய வழிகளை தன்னலமின்றி பின்பற்ற முயல்வோமா?

To become followers of Christ, we should be ready to carry our cross by enduring frustration and opposition the world throws on us and be humble at heart in all circumstances. Are we ready to take up the cross and follow His ways selflessly?

                                                     மனதில் பதிக்க…

நீங்கள் ஏமாறாதவாறு பார்த்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; ஏனெனில் பலர் என் பெயரை வைத்துக்கொண்டு வந்து, `நானே அவர்' என்றும், `காலம் நெருங்கி வந்துவிட்டது' என்றும் கூறுவார்கள்-லூக்கா 21: 8

Take care not to be deceived,' he said 'because many will come using my name and saying, “I am he” and, “The time is near at hand.”-Luke 21:8

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

எது உண்மையாகவே கடவுளிடமிருந்து வருகின்றது என்பதை நாம் உணர்ந்து, கடவுளின் நம்பிக்கையை முழுமையாக பெற்று , விசுவாசத்தில் உறுதியாக நிலைத்திருக்கவும், அவர் நிமித்தம் இவ்வுலக வாழ்க்கையில் வரும் சிற்றின்பங்கள் அனைத்தையும் விட்டுவிடவும் நாம் முயற்சி செய்வோமா?

How do we discern God’s will instead of being deceived with what the world offers today in our daily lives. Are we prepared to remain firm in faith and also ready to shed away every seemingly good thing, for the sake of Christ?

                                                         மனதில் பதிக்க…

இந்த ஏழைக் கைம்பெண் எல்லாரையும் விட மிகுதியான காணிக்கை போட்டிருக்கிறார் என உண்மையாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன் - லூக்கா 21:3

I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest- Luke 21: 3

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நமது உபரியில் இருந்து கொடுப்பதை மட்டும் கருத்தில் கொள்ளாமல், மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஆதரவளிப்பதற்கும், அதிக நன்மைக்கு பங்களிப்பதற்கும் நமது சொந்த தேவைகளில் ஒரு பகுதியை தியாகம் செய்ய தயாராக இருக்கிறோமா?

Giving not just from our surplus, but are we also willing to sacrifice a part of our own needs to support others and contribute to a greater good?

 எனது ஆட்சி இவ்வுலக ஆட்சி போன்றது அல்ல. - யோவான் 18: 36

My kingdom does not belong to this world. - John 18:36

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நம்மை சுற்றி இருப்பவர்களின் நிறைகளை கண்டு கொள்ளாமல்  அவர்களது குறைகளை மிகுதிப்படுத்தும்  பண்பு நம்மிடமுள்ளதா? இயேசுவைப் போல வாழ்ந்து பலரின் மனங்களில் வாசம் வீச நாம் செய்யும் ஏற்பாடுகள் என்னவென்று ஆய்வு செய்து நம்மையே மாற்றிக்கொள்ள முயற்சி செய்வோம்.

Do we judge people only with negative thoughts and not looking at their positive experiences we have? Shall we try to live as Jesus did, spreading the fragrance of peace and joy?

 “அவர் இறந்தோரின் கடவுள் அல்ல; மாறாக வாழ்வோரின் கடவுள்.”  - (லூக்கா 20:38)

“Now he is God, not of the dead, but of the living; for to him everyone is alive.”  - (Luke 20:38)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இயேசுவே மெய்யான கடவுள். இயேசு நம் பாவங்களுக்காக சிலுவையில் மறித்தது மட்டுமில்லாமல் மூன்றாம் நாள் உயிர்த்து என்றென்றும் வாழும் கடவுளாக இருக்கிறார்.                                                                                                      என்றென்றும் வாழும் கடவுளின் பிள்ளைகளாகிய நாம் அவர் கற்றுக்கொடுத்த பாதையில் நடந்து இறுதி நாளில் அவருடன் உயிர்ப்பை பெற முயற்சிப்போமா

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only true and living God. God loved us so much that he gave his only son to die on the cross for our sins and raised him up on the third day to be the only living God. So, we being the children of our living God, can we follow and practice his teachings and make ourselves eligible to rise with him on the last day?

 “என் இல்லம் இறைவேண்டலின் வீடு’ என்று மறைநூலில் எழுதியுள்ளதே; ஆனால் நீங்கள் இதைக் கள்வர் குகையாக்கினீர்கள்”  - (லூக்கா 19:46)

“According to scripture, my house shall be a house of prayer but you have turned it into a bandit's' den.”  - (Luke 19:46)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

அன்று எருசலேம் கோவிலை போலவே நாமும் பல நேரங்களில் உலக ஆசைகள், தீய பழக்கம், செல்போன் அடிமை என பலவற்றால் நமது இதயத்தை கள்வர் குகையாக்கி வைத்துள்ளோம்.                                                        

நமது உடல் இறைவன் வாழும் இல்லம் என்பதை மனதில் கொண்டு இயேசுவின் திருவுடலான திவ்ய நற்கருணையை தகுந்த தயாரிப்பு இல்லாமல்  உட்கொள்வதை தவிர்ப்போமா ?

We are no different from the temple of Jerusalem in keeping our heart like a bandit's den coz of our interest towards the worldly pleasures, bad practices, mobile addiction etc. 

So, let's keep in mind that our body is the temple of our living God and make sure that we don't receive the holy communion without proper preparation.

                                                         மனதில் பதிக்க…

 “மேலும் உன்னிடம் கற்கள் ஒன்றின்மீது ஒன்று இராதபடி செய்வார்கள். ஏனெனில் கடவுள் உன்னைத் தேடி வந்த காலத்தை நீ அறிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை”  - (லூக்கா 19:44)

"they will dash you and the children inside your walls to the ground; they will leave not one stone standing on another within you, because you did not recognize the moment of your visitation.”  - (Luke 19:44)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

மனிதனாக பிறந்த நாம் ஒவ்வொருவருமே பாவத்தில் வீழ்வது இயல்பு. பாவ வழியில் இருந்து மீண்டு வர நமக்கு கடவுள் பல வாய்ப்புகளை தருகிறார்.                                                                                                                                                    பாவ வாழ்க்கையில் வீழ்ந்து கிடக்கும் நாம், நம்மை தேடி வரும் தேவனின் அழைப்பை ஏற்று அவர் பின்னால் செல்ல தயாராகவுள்ளோமா? சிந்திப்போம்

Every one of us have a human tendency of falling for sin. And God gives us numerous opportunities to repent and turn back to God.

Are we ready to leave our sinful life and answer God's call and follow him.

                                                         மனதில் பதிக்க…

"உள்ளவர் எவருக்கும் கொடுக்கப்படும். இல்லாதோரிட மிருந்து உள்ளதும் எடுக்கப்படும் என உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்’ என்றார்" - (லூக்கா 19:26)

"I tell you, to everyone who has will be given more; but anyone who has not will be deprived even of what he has.”  - (Luke 19:26)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கடவுள் நம் அனைவரையுமே பல செல்வங்கள் மற்றும் திறன்களால் ஆசீர்வதித்துள்ளார். அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை மற்றவர்களுடன் குறிப்பாக ஒன்றும் இல்லாதவர்களுடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்வோமா ?  சிந்திப்போம்.

God has blessed all with treasures and talents.  Shall we share His blessings with others and especially with those having nothing? Think about it.

                                                 மனதில் பதிக்க…

 “சக்கேயு, விரைவாய் இறங்கி வாரும்; இன்று உமது வீட்டில் நான் தங்க வேண்டும்” என்றார். அவர் விரைவாய் இறங்கி வந்து மகிழ்ச்சியோடு அவரை வரவேற்றார்" - (லூக்கா 19:5)

“Zacchaeus, come down. Hurry, because I am to stay at your house today.' And he hurried down and welcomed him joyfully.”  - (Luke 19:5)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கிறிஸ்துவர்களாய் பிறந்த நாம் அனைவருமே இயேசுவின் அழைப்பை பெற்றிருக்கிறோம். ஆனால் சக்கேயுவைப் போல இறங்கி வர மணமில்லாமல் பணம் பதவி சொத்து போன்றவற்றிற்காக இயேசுவை அழைக்க மறுக்கிறோம். நிலையில்லா உலக சொத்துகளை விட்டு உண்மையான கடவுளுக்காக நம் மணங்களை திறக்க தையாரவோமா. சிந்திப்போம்

Every one of us born as Christians have got Jesus's call. But unlike Zacchaeus we feel reluctant to answer his call and go behind money position and wealth. Are we ready to give up temporary worldly pleasures and open our hearts to Jesus like Zacchaeus??

                                                     மனதில் பதிக்க…

“ஆண்டவரே, என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்” என்று கத்தினார். இயேசு உடனே தம் கையை நீட்டி அவரைப் பிடித்து, “நம்பிக்கை குன்றியவனே, ஏன் ஐயம் கொண்டாய்?” என்றார் (மத்தேயு 14:36)

“Lord,' he cried, 'save me!' Jesus put out his hand at once and held him. 'You have so little faith,' he said, 'why did you doubt?”

 - (Matthew 14:36)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இன்று நாமும் பல நேரங்களில் பேதுருவைப் போல் இயேசுவின் பார்வையில் இருந்தும் ஆழமான விசுவாசம் இல்லாததால் பிரச்சனைகளால் சோதிக்கப்படும்  போது, இயேசுவை கூவி அழைக்கிறோம்.

என்றுமே கடவுளோடு பயணித்து அவர் மேல் கடுகளவும் ஐயமில்லா விசுவாசத்தை வளர்க்க இயேசுவிடம் செபிப்போமா?

We also like Peter many times don't completely put our faith in God and seek him during our problems & challenging times. So can we try to bind ourselves with God and build our trust in him without even a pinch of disbelief.

                                                     மனதில் பதிக்க…

"விண்ணும் மண்ணும் ஒழிந்துபோகும்; ஆனால் என் வார்த்தைகள் ஒழியவேமாட்டா” - (மாற்கு 13:31)

“Sky and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. “- (Mark 13:31)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

தலைமுறை தாண்டியும் நாம் வாழும் போதிலும் ஏன் இந்த உலகமே முடிவுக்கு வந்தாலும் கடவுளின் வார்த்தைக்கு மட்டும் முடிவே கிடையாது.  நம் கடவுளை போல அவருடைய வார்த்தையும் நிலை வாழ்வை கொண்டுள்ளது. நாமும் அவருடைய வார்த்தையை யின் படி நடந்து அந்த நிலைவாழ்வை பெற முயற்சிப்போமா

People from generation to generation might live on earth and their life will end and even if the world comes to an end the word of God will not perish, because God is eternal and so also his words and action. Can we try to enter the eternity by reading the word of God every day and live by it?

                                                     மனதில் பதிக்க…

தாம் தேர்ந்துகொண்டவர்கள் அல்லும் பகலும் தம்மை நோக்கிக் கூக்குரலிடும்போது கடவுள் அவர்களுக்கு நீதி வழங்காமல் இருப்பாரா? அவர்களுக்குத் துணை செய்யக் காலம் தாழ்த்துவாரா? விரைவில் அவர்களுக்கு நீதி வழங்குவார் என நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன். லூக்கா18:7-8

Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night? Will he be slow to answer them? I tell you, he will see to it that justice is done for them speedily. But when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” - Luke 18:7-8

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நமது வாழ்க்கை முறையும் நமது சிந்தனைகளும் கடவுள் பார்வையில் நேர்மையானதாக இருக்கும் போது நிச்சயமாக நாம் இறைவனால் தேர்ந்து கொண்டவர்களாகிறோம். அப்போது நமது விண்ணப்பங்களுக்கு இறைவன் நீதியான பதில் தருகிறார் என்பதை மறுக்க முடியாது. எனவே நமது எண்ணங்களும் செயல்பாடுகளும் நேர்மையானதாக இருக்கிறதா என்று சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்.

When our thoughts and actions are right in the eyes of God, hen we can call ourselves as His chosen people. God will listen to his chosen people and will never abandon us. On the other hand, he will direct our thoughts and actions towards our trust in Him. God will listen to our intended petitions. Shall we ensure that we live a life with good intentions?

                                                 மனதில் பதிக்க…

கிறிஸ்துவின் போதனையில் நிலைத்திராமல் வரம்பு மீறிச் செல்வோர் கடவுளைக் கொண்டிருப்பதில்லை. அவர் போதனையில் நிலைத்திருப்போரிடமே தந்தையும் மகனும் இருக்கிறார்கள். - 2 யோவான் 1: 9

Anyone who is so “progressive” as not to remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God; whoever remains in the teaching has the Father and the Son. -  2 John 1: 9

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இயேசு ஆண்டவரின் போதனைகளை கேட்பதோடு மட்டும் நின்றுவிடாமல் அப்போதனைகளை கடைப்பிடித்து அதில் நிலைத்து நின்று வாழ்வோரிடமே கடவுளும் மகனும் தங்கி செயலாற்றுவார்கள். நாமும் இறை போதனைகளை நமது வாழ்வில் எல்லா சந்தர்ப்பத்திலும் கடைப்பிடிக்கிறோமா? சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்.

When those who not only listen to the word of God but follow it in their lives, God dwells in them and does wonders in their lives. So, we too should listen and live the word of God in any situation so that God may dwell in us and do marvelous things through us. Let us try in our daily life.

                                                         மனதில் பதிக்க…

அவர்கள் உங்களிடம், ‘இதோ, இங்கே! அல்லது அதோ, அங்கே!’ என்பார்கள். ஆனால் நீங்கள் போக வேண்டாம்; அவர்களைப் பின்தொடரவும் வேண்டாம்.  - லூக்கா 17:22-23

There will be those who will say to you, ‘Look, there he is,’ [or] ‘Look, here he is.’ Do not go off, do not run in pursuit. -  Luke 17:23

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நம் ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவால் நிறுவப்பட்டு , நாம் அனைவரும் விசுவசிக்கிற ஒரே புனித, கத்தோலிக்க, திருத்தூதர் வழி வரும் திருஅவையில் நிலைத்திக்கும் படி நமக்கு விடுத்த அழைப்பை ஏற்று , அதை உறுதியாக பற்றிக்கொண்டு அத்திருஅவையில் ஒரே மனத்தோராய் இணைந்து இவ்வுலகில் பயணிப்போமா?

Formed by our Lord Jesus Christ and our belief as one holy, Catholic and apostolic church, shall we stay strong in our invitation to be as Catholics and travel together in this world with the same likeness?

                                                     மனதில் பதிக்க…

இயேசு அவரைப் பார்த்து, “பத்துப் பேர்களின் நோயும் நீங்கவில்லையா? மற்ற ஒன்பது பேர் எங்கே? கடவுளைப் போற்றிப் புகழ அன்னியராகிய உம்மைத் தவிர வேறு எவரும் திரும்பிவரக் காணோமே!” லூக்கா 17:18

Has none but this foreigner returned to give thanks to God?” Luke 17:18

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நமக்கு தேவை வரும்போது எத்தனையோ தடவைகள்  இறைவனை நாடி ஆலயத்திற்கு செல்கின்றோம் ஆனால் தினமும் அவரது மேலான தயவினால் நமக்கு புதிய நாளை கொடுத்து சகல தேவைகளையும் சந்தித்து நிறைவாக நம்மை வழிநடத்துவதை நாம் நினைத்துப் பார்த்து எத்தனை முறை நன்றி சொல்ல ஆலயத்திற்கு சென்றிருப்போம் சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்

We pray or approach God whenever a need arises. But above all our prayers and need, God gives abundant grace and fulfills our needs. How many times do go to church to thank Him? Let us think about it and act /do !

                                                         மனதில் பதிக்க…

அது போலவே, நீங்களும் உங்களுக்குப் பணிக்கப்பட்ட யாவற்றையும் செய்தபின், ‘நாங்கள் பயனற்ற பணியாளர்கள்; எங்கள் கடமையைத்தான் செய்தோம்’ எனச் சொல்லுங்கள்.”  லூக்கா 17:10

So should it be with you. When you have done all you have been commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants; we have done what we were obliged to do.’” Luke 17:10

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இறைவனுக்கு பணி புரியவோ அல்லது பிறருக்கு உதவி புரியவோ நமக்கு கிடைக்கும் சந்தர்ப்பங்களை நம் சுய தற்பெருமைக்காக பயன்படுத்துகின்றோமா அல்லது  எங்கள் கடமையைத்தான் செய்தோம் என்று உள்ளத்திலிருந்து சொல்கின்றோமா?  சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்.

Given an opportunity to serve our Lord or serve others, are we doing it for our own self bragging or doing it as a duty entrusted to us. Let us think.

                                    மனதில் பதிக்க…

"எனவே, நீங்கள் எச்சரிக்கையாய் இருங்கள். உங்களுடைய சகோதரர் சகோதரிகளுள் ஒருவர் பாவம் செய்தால் அவரைக் கடிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்."

லூக்கா:17:3

Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. Luke 17:3

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நமது வீட்டில் அல்லது நம் பணி இடங்களில் அல்லது நாம் ஒன்று கூடும் இடங்களில் யாராவது நீதியற்றவராக நடந்து கொள்வதை நாம் காண நேர்ந்தால் அவர்களின் அநீதியைக் கண்டு கண்டிக்கின்றோமா அல்லது அவர்களின் உறவு முறிந்துவிடுமோ என்று பயந்து கண்டும் காணாதவர் போல் நடந்துகொள்கின்றோமா சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்… 

Do we condemn the misbehaviors of our friends, or do we ignore their acts in fear of losing their friendship? Think about it.

                                                         மனதில் பதிக்க…

"மனிதர் ஒரே முறை சாவுக்கு உட்படுகின்றனர். பின்னர் இறுதித் தீர்ப்பு வருகிறது. இதுவே அவர்களுக்கென உள்ள நியதி" - எபிரேயர் 9:27

“Just as it is appointed that human beings die once, and after this the judgment.” - Hebrews 9:27

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நம் ஆண்டவாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து  ஒருமுறை இறந்தார். அவருடைய மரணத்தின் மூலம் அவர் நமக்கு நிலை வாழ்வு கொடுத்துள்ளார் . நாம் இறக்கும் போது, ​​நித்திய வாழ்வுக்காக காத்திருக்கிறோம். அந்த நித்திய வாழ்விற்கு நாம் தகுதியானவர்களா? இதை நாம் எப்படி அடைய முடியும்? புனிதமான வாழ்க்கை மற்றும் கடவுள் மீது முழு நம்பிக்கையுடன் வாழ்ந்தால் நாம் அதை அடைய முடியும். கிறிஸ்து கொண்டு வந்த மீட்பு இன்றும் நம் கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வில் இருக்கிறது. ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதும் நிராகரிப்பதும் நம் கையில் உள்ளது.

Son of God died once for all; through his death he brought life after our earthly dwellings. When we die, we await for the life eternal. Are we worthy of that eternal life? How can we achieve this? Living a life of holiness and total trust in God. Salvation which Christ brought is still in our Christian life. It is up to us to reject or accept.

No servant can serve two masters. He will either hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon Lk 16: 13
