இந்தத் தலைமுறையினர் அடையாளம் கேட்பதேன்? இத்தலைமுறையினருக்கு அடையாளம் எதுவும் கொடுக்கப்படமாட்டாது என உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்” என்றார்.  - மாற்கு 8:12 

“Why does this generation seek a sign? Amen, I say to you, no sign will be given to this generation.” - Mark 8:12

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நாம் பெற்றுக் கொள்கின்ற அனைத்து நன்மைத்தனங்களும் இறைவனிடமிருந்தே வருகின்றது என்று நன்கு தெரிந்து கொண்டாலும் அவரிடத்தில் நம்பிக்கையற்றவர்களாகவே  இருக்கின்றோம். எனவே முழு நம்பிக்கையுடன் அவரிடத்தில் செல்லலாமா?

Even though we know that all the good things we receive come from God, we still lack faith in Him. Shall we go to Him with full faith?

மனிதர்முன் வாழ்வும் சாவும் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. எதை அவர்கள் விரும்புகிறார்களோ அதுவே அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும். - சீராக் 15:17

Before everyone are life and death, whichever they choose will be given them. - Sirach 15:17

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நன்மையும் தீமையையும் அறிந்து செயல்படுகின்ற சுதந்திரத்தை இறைவன் நமக்கு  கொடுத்திருக்கின்றார். எனவே எதைச் செய்தாலும் இறைவன் அனைத்தையும் காண்கிறார் என்றும் அவருக்கு கணக்குக் கொடுக்க வேண்டியவர்களாகவே நாம் இருக்கின்றோம் என்பதையும் சிந்தித்து செயல்படுவோம்.

God has given us the freedom to know good and evil and act accordingly. Therefore, let us act with the understanding that no matter what we do, God sees everything and that we are accountable to Him.

பின்பு அந்த ஏழு அப்பங்களையும் எடுத்து, கடவுளுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி, பிட்டு, பரிமாறும்படி தம் சீடர்களிடம் கொடுக்க, அவர்களும் மக்களுக்கு அளித்தார்கள். - மாற்கு 8:6

 

Then, taking the seven loaves, he gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples to distribute, and they distributed them to the crowd. - Mark 8:6

அற்புதத்தை நிகழ்த்துவதற்கு முன், இயேசு கிறிஸ்து தேவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தினார். நாமும் நம் வாழ்க்கையின் அனைத்து அம்சங்களிலும் அவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்த வேண்டாமா?

 

Before performing the miracle, Jesus Christ gave thanks to God. Shall we also give thanks to Him in all aspects of our lives?

இவர் எத்துணை நன்றாக யாவற்றையும் செய்து வருகிறார்! காதுகேளாதோர் கேட்கவும் பேச்சற்றோர் பேசவும் செய்கிறாரே! - மாற்கு 7:37

He has done all things well.  He makes the deaf hear and the mute speak."-Mark 7:37

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கடவுள் ஒருபோதும் உங்களைத் தன் சித்தத்தைச் செய்ய வற்புறுத்த மாட்டார். அவர் மெதுவாக பெருமூச்சு விடுகிறார்; தம்மால் உங்கள் நலனுக்காக செய்யப்பட்ட செயல்களை நீங்கள் கண்டு, தாழ்மையுடன் சரணடைவதற்காக அவர் பொறுமையுடன் காத்திருக்கிறார். அன்பினால், இயேசு கிறிஸ்து அவர்களின் பாதங்களில் நீங்கள் சரணடையத் தயாரா?

God will never force you to do His will. He sighs; He waits patiently for when seeing the works that He has done in your favor, you surrender humbled, you surrender out of love, to the feet of Jesus. Are you willing to do it?

ஆம் ஐயா, ஆனாலும் மேசையின் கீழிருக்கும் நாய்க்குட்டிகள் சிறு பிள்ளைகள் சிந்தும் சிறு துண்டுகளைத் தின்னுமே - மாற்கு 7:28

 

“Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.”- Mark 7 :27-29

 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

 

The woman didn’t walk away offended. She leaned in closer. That is the heart of persistent faith. Sometimes the miracle is instant. Sometimes the greater miracle is the faith formed in the waiting. Shall we also wait on Him at our desperate times?

 

அந்த பெண் அவமானப்பட்டு விலகவில்லை. அவள் இன்னும் அருகில் நெருங்கினாள். அதுவே நிலைத்திருக்கும் விசுவாசத்தின் இதயம்.சில நேரங்களில் அற்புதம் உடனே நடக்கிறது. சில வேளைகளில், காத்திருப்பில் உருவாகும் விசுவாசமே அதைவிட பெரிய அற்புதமாகும். நாம் நம்முடைய துயரமான காலங்களில் அவரை நம்பி காத்திருப்போமா?

வெளியே இருந்து மனிதருக்குள்ளே சென்று அவர்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தக் கூடியது ஒன்றுமில்லை. மனிதருக்குள் உள்ளிருந்து வெளியே வருபவையே அவர்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும். – மாற்கு 7:15

 

Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile.” – Mark 7:15

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

 

இயேசு நம்மை இருதயத்திலும், மனதிலும், ஆன்மாவிலும் தூய்மையான வாழ்க்கைக்கு அழைக்கிறார்; ஏனெனில் இவைகள் நமக்குள்ளேயானவை.அப்படியானால், நாம் ஒவ்வொரு தீய சிந்தனையிலிருந்தும் செயலிலிருந்தும் விலகி, அவர் பரிபூரணமாக வாழ்ந்து நமக்கு வெளிப்படுத்திய அதே தூய்மையில் நடக்க முயல்வோமா?

 

Jesus invites us into a life of purity – in heart, in mind, and in soul, for these are the things within us. Are we, then, to turn away from every evil thought and deed, seeking to walk in the same purity that He perfectly lived and revealed to us?

மேலும், அவர் சென்ற ஊர்கள், நகர்கள், பட்டிகள் அனைத்திலும் உடல் நலம் குன்றியோரைப் பொதுவிடங்களில் கிடத்தி, அவருடைய மேலுடையின் ஓரத்தையாவது அவர்கள் தொட அனுமதிக்குமாறு அவரை வேண்டினார்கள். அவரைத் தொட்ட அனைவரும் நலமடைந்தனர். - மாற்கு 6:56

 

And wherever he went, to village or town or farm, they laid down the sick in the open spaces, begging him to let them touch even the fringe of his cloak. And all those who touched him were saved. - Mark 6:56

 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

 

சில சமயங்களில் நம் காயங்களை அவரிடம் ஒப்படைக்கத் தயங்குகிறோம், மாறாக அவரை அணுகி, அவருடைய பிரசன்னம் நம்மை மாற்றவும், உடல்ரீதியாகவும் ஆன்மீகரீதியாகவும் மீட்டெடுக்கவும் அனுமதிப்போமா?

There are times when we hold back hesitant to entrust our wounds before Him, but instead shall we reach out Him and allow His presence to transform us and restore us both physically and spiritually?

ஆண்டவர்முன் அமைதியுடன் காத்திரு; தம் வழியில் வெற்றி காண்போரையும் சூழ்ச்சிகள் செய்வோரையும் பார்த்து எரிச்சல் கொள்ளாதே. - திருப்பாடல்கள் 37:7

Be still before the LORD; wait for him. Do not be provoked by the prosperous, nor by malicious schemers -Psalms 37:7

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

ஆண்டவரை எதிர்பார்த்து காத்திருப்பது அவருக்குமுன் கீழ்ப்படிதலாகும்; நிறைவேற்றம் அவர் தீர்மானித்த சரியான நேரத்தில் நிகழும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையின் செயலாகும். அவருடைய பரிபூரண காலத்தில் உறுதியாக நிலைத்த இருதயத்துடன், ஆழ்ந்த நம்பிக்கையோடு நாம் காத்திருப்போமா?

Waiting on God is submission before Him, an act of trust that fulfilment will be made at His right moment, shall we wait with a heart anchored in His perfect timing with profound trust?

நீங்கள் உலகிற்கு ஒளியாய் இருக்கிறீர்கள். மலைமேல் இருக்கும் நகர் மறைவாயிருக்க முடியாது. எவரும் விளக்கை ஏற்றி மரக்காலுக்குள் வைப்பதில்லை; -மத்தேயு 5:14-15

You are the light of the world. A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket; -Matthew 5:14-15

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கடவுள் ஒளி, அவர் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியை நமக்குள் வாழ அனுப்பியதால், நாம் அதை அறியாதபோதும் பிரகாசிக்கிறோம். இயேசுவை அறிந்தால் மட்டும் போதுமா, இந்த உலகில் நாம் அவருடைய செயல்பாடாக இருப்போமா?

God is light, and since He sent His Holy Spirit to live inside us, we shine even when we don’t know it. Is it enough for us just to know Jesus, shall we also be the activity of Him in this world?

“உம் மக்களுக்கு நீதி வழங்கவும் நன்மை தீமை பகுத்தறியவும் தேவையான ஞானம் நிறைந்த உள்ளத்தை அடியேனுக்குத் தந்தருளும் ” -  அரசர்கள் 3:9

“Give your servant a heart to understand how to govern your people, how to discern between good and evil, for how could one otherwise govern such a great people as yours” - Kings 3:9

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

இறைவனின் எண்ணிலடங்கா அருளை  பெற்ற பின்பும் நாம் அன்றாட தேவைக்காக இறைவனிடம் செபித்துக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறோம். சாலமோன் அரசரை போல நாமும் செல்வத்திற்கும் உலக காரியங்களுக்கும் ஆசை படாமல் கடவுளின் ஞானத்தை வரமாக பெற்று அவரின் ஏராளமான ஆசீரை பெற முயற்சிப்போமா?

We keep praying God daily for our fulfilling our petitions even after getting abundant grace from God. Instead of using prayer to list our worldly desires and wealth, like King Solomon can we also ask God for His wisdom and get immensely blessed by God?

“தாவீது தம் எல்லாச் செயல்களிலும் மாட்சியைச் சாற்றும் சொற்களால் உன்னத இறைவனாகிய ஆண்டவருக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தினார். தம்மைப் படைத்தவர்மீது அன்பு செலுத்தினார் ” -  சீராக் 47:6

“David, in all his activities he gave thanks to the Holy One Most High in words of glory; he put all his heart into his songs out of love for his Creator.” - Sirach 47:6

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கடவுள் நம் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் ஆசீர்வதித்து எந்த குறையுமின்றி காத்து வருகிறார். இறைவனின் அருளை நிறைவாக பெற்றுக்கொள்ளும் நாம் , தாவீது அரசரை போல கடவுளுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தி அவரிடமிருந்து பெற்றுக்கொண்ட அன்பை அனைவருக்கும் கொடுக்க முயல்வோமா?

God has blessed each one of us as per our needs. After receiving the abundant grace from God, do we thank Jesus for everything like King David and share the love received from God to everyone around us?

“உங்களை எந்த ஊராவது ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளாமலோ உங்களுக்குச் செவிசாய்க்காமலோ போனால் அங்கிருந்து வெளியேறும் பொழுது, உங்கள் கால்களில் படிந்துள்ள தூசியை உதறிவிடுங்கள். இதுவே அவர்களுக்கு எதிரான சான்றாகும்!” -  மாற்கு 6:11

“If any place does not welcome you and people refuse to listen to you, as you walk away shake off the dust under your feet as evidence to them!” - Mark 6:11

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கிறிஸ்துவின் இறை வார்த்தையைக் கேட்க அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் நாம், அதற்கு செவிசாய்க்காமல் பாவ வழியில் நடந்து கடவுளின் தண்டனைக்கு உள்ளாக போறோமா அல்லது இறை வார்த்தையை கேட்டு நம் வாழ்க்கையை செம்மைப்படுத்தி நிலைவாழ்வை பெற முயல்வோமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

We Christians, are the chosen ones to know the word of God. Are we going to follow it in our life and lead a life as the children of God or going to continue our sinful life even after knowing it's against God?

“இவருக்கு இவையெல்லாம் எங்கிருந்து வந்தன? இவர் தச்சர் அல்லவா! மரியாவின் மகன்தானே! ” -  மாற்கு 6:6

“ Where did this man get all this? Is he not the carpenter, the son of Mary ! ” - Mark 6:6

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நாம் ஒவ்வொருவருமே கடவுளின் ஆசீரை நிறைவாக பெற்றுள்ளோம். ஆனால் நாமோ பிறரின் திறமையை அங்கிகரிக்க மனமில்லாமல் அவர்களின் நிறம், பிறப்பு , நடத்தையை என்று பிற காரணங்களை கொண்டு விமர்சிக்கிறோம் . எந்த பாகுபாடுமில்லாமல் அனைவரையும் அன்போடு ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு கடவுளின் இறையாட்சியை மண்ணில் நிறுவ முயற்சி செய்வோமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

Everyone of us has been blessed abundantly by God. Even then many times we find it difficult to accept other talents around us and find fault with them based on other reasons like color, birth,character,etc. Can we share our God’s Love with everyone around us and try to establish the Kingdom of God on earth?

கிறிஸ்துவின் பிள்ளைகளாகிய நாம்,  துன்பங்கள் சோதனைகள் வரும் நேரங்களில் , அவரில் இன்னும் அதிகமான நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு கடவுளின் திட்டத்தின் படி நடக்கிறோமா, அல்லது பிரச்சனைகளை கண்டு அஞ்சி , மனம் துவண்டு போய் குறுக்கு வழிகளில் சென்று இயேசுவை விட்டு விலகிச் செல்கிறோமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

We being the followers of Jesus Christ believe in God but during problems & challenging times, are we going to increase our faith in Him and accept God’s plan or are we going to lose hope fearing the troubles and move away from God choosing an easy and wrong path?

“Because he himself was tested through what he suffered, he is able to help those who are being tested.” - Hebrews 2:18

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நம் ஆண்டவராம் இயேசு கிறிஸ்து பாவத்தின் வழியில் நடவாதிருக்க போதிக்க மட்டும் செய்யாமல் அதனை தன் வாழ்க்கையில் அனுபவித்து அதில் வெற்றியும் கொண்டதால், நாமும் சாத்தானின் சோதனையின்று வெற்றிக்கொள்ள நமக்கு உதவும் ஆண்டவராய் இருக்கிறார். அவரில் உறுதியுடன் பற்றிக்கொண்டு உலகில் கடவுளுக்கு உகந்த வாழ்கையை வாழ முயல்வோமா?

Our Lord Jesus Christ not just preached to lead a life without sin but also lead by example and showed us how to win temptations. We can fight temptations if we trust Him completely. Are we ready to hold on to Him and lead a life as children of God?

“ஆனால் கடவுள் ஞானிகளை வெட்கப்படுத்த, மடமை என உலகம் கருதுபவற்றைத் தேர்ந்து கொண்டார்.” - கொரிந்தியர் 1:27

“Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong,” - 1 Corinthians 1:27

 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

இந்த உலகம் பாகுபாடோடும் மற்றும் வெளிப்புற தோற்றத்தை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு, அறிவில்லாதவர்கள்/பலவீனமானவர்கள் என்று  மதிப்பிடுகிறது . ஆனால் நம்மை படைத்த தேவன், நம்மையும் நம்முடைய திறன்களையும் நன்றாக அறிந்துள்ளார்.  நம்மை படைத்த கடவுளிடம் நம்மை முழுவதுமாக அர்ப்பணித்து , அவர் நமது வாழ்க்கையில் அற்புதங்களைச் நிகழ்த்த முயற்சி செய்வோமா?

 

It’s a human tendency for us human to judge others as foolish or weak based with partiality and with outward appearance. But God our creator knows each one of us and our abilities. So, can we surrender ourselves to God and allow Him to work wonders in our Life?

இயேசு தம் சீடர்களை மட்டுமல்ல, அவருடைய அற்புதங்களைக் கண்டிருந்தும், துன்பமான அல்லது நம்பிக்கையற்ற சூழ்நிலைகளில் அவருடைய திட்டங்களை நம்பத் தவறும் நம்மில் ஒவ்வொருவரையும் கடிந்துகொள்கிறார். கடந்த புயலிலிருந்து நம்மைக் காப்பாற்ற அவருடைய கிருபை போதுமானதாக இருந்தபோது, ​​இந்தப் புயலில் அவர் நம்மைக் கைவிட்டுவிட்டார் என்பது போல நாம் ஏன் இன்னும் நடந்துகொள்கிறோம்?

Jesus isn't just rebuking His disciples, but also each one of us who has witnessed His miracles and yet fails to trust His plans when in a trouble or a hopeless situation. If His grace was enough to carry us through the last storm, why do we still act as if He has abandoned us in this one?

“Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds can perch in its shade” - Mark 4: 32

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கடவுள் பெரும்பாலும் தமது மாபெரும் செயல்களை, நாம் விசுவாசத்துடன் செய்யும் மிகச் சிறிய கீழ்ப்படிதல் செயல்கள் மூலமாகவே தொடங்குகிறார். நாம் கீழ்ப்படிதலின் முதல் சிறிய அடியை எடுத்து வைக்கத் தயாராக இருக்கிறோமா? அல்லது கடந்த கால குற்றவுணர்ச்சியின் பாரம் நம்மைத் சிறைப்படுத்தி, தயக்கத்திலேயே வைத்திருக்க அனுமதித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோமா?

God often starts His greatest works through our smallest acts of faithful obedience. Are we ready to take that first small step of obedience or are we allowing the weight of past guilt to shackle us, permitting ourselves to remain held back by hesitation?

“With the measure you use, it will be measured to you; and even more” - Mark 4: 24

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

வளமான மண்ணில் விதைக்கப்பட்ட விதையைப் போல, நாம் அர்ப்பணிக்கும் நேரத்தையும் திறமையையும் கடவுள் பன்மடங்காகப் பெருக்கி, ஆசீர்வாதங்களின் அறுவடையாக நமக்குத் தருகிறார். பரபரப்பான ஒரு நாளின் அவசரத்தில், நாம் நமது முதல் கனிகளை அவருக்கு அர்ப்பணிக்கிறோமா, அல்லது நமது வாழ்க்கையின் 'நிலுவையில் உள்ள' பட்டியலில் அவரை விட்டுவிடுகிறோமா?

Like a seed cast into fertile soil, God multiplies our humble investment of time and talent into a harvest of blessings. In the rush of a demanding day, are we offering Him our first fruits, or are we leaving Him on the 'pending' list of our lives?

“Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop” - Mark 4: 20

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

விதைப்பவர் உவமையில், இயேசு நல்ல நிலத்தை, ஆண்டவரின் வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு, அதன்படி தீவிரமாக வாழும் இருதயங்களுக்கு ஒப்பிடுகிறார். நாம் ஆண்டவரின் வார்த்தையை மேலோட்டமாகக் கேட்டுவிட்டு கடந்து போகிறோமா, அல்லது கவனச்சிதறல்களை நீக்கி, அது நமக்குள் ஆழமாக வேரூன்றி கனிதர அனுமதிக்கிறோமா?

In this parable of sower, Jesus compares the good soil to hearts that hear the word of God and actively live it out. Are we merely listeners who let God’s Word sit on the surface or are we ready to dig deep and clear away the distractions so that His truth can finally take root and produce a miracle in each one of us.
