நான் சொல்வதைக் கேட்டும் அதன்படி செயல்படாதவரோ, அடித்தளம் இல்லாமல் மண்மீது வீடு கட்டியவருக்கு ஒப்பாவார்.  - லூக்கா 6:49

 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. - Luke 6:49

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…


இயேசுவின் போதனைகளின் அடிப்படையில் ஒருவரின் வாழ்க்கையை கட்டமைப்பது உறுதியை அளிக்கிறது, ஆனால் அவற்றை புறக்கணிப்பது ஒருவரை சரிவுக்கு ஆளாக்குகிறது. நம் அடித்தளத்தை பாறையின் மீதா அல்லது மணலின் மீதா கட்ட வேண்டும் என்பதை முடிவு செய்வோமா? 

Building one's life on Jesus's teachings provides stability, whereas neglecting them leaves one vulnerable to collapse. Let us decide whether to build our foundation on rock or sand.

வெளிவேடக்காரரே, முதலில் உங்கள் கண்ணில் இருக்கும் மரக்கட்டையை எடுத்து எறியுங்கள். அதன்பின் உங்கள் சகோதரர் அல்லது சகோதரியின் கண்ணில் இருக்கும் துரும்பை எடுக்க உங்களுக்குத் தெளிவாய்க் கண் தெரியும்.” லூக்கா 6:42

 How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. Luke 6:42

மற்றவர்களைத் திருத்த முயல்வதற்கு முன், உங்கள் சொந்த பாவத்தையும் தவறுகளையும் முதலில் நீக்குவதற்கு முன்னுரிமை அளிப்பது முக்கிய செய்தியாகும், இது பணிவு, தனிப்பட்ட வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் உண்மையான ஆன்மீக புரிதலை வளர்க்கிறது.

The core message is to prioritize removing your own sin and failing before attempting to correct others, which fosters humility, personal growth, and genuine spiritual insight.

உங்களைச் சபிப்போருக்கு ஆசி கூறுங்கள்; உங்களை இகழ்ந்து பேசுவோருக்காக இறைவனிடம் வேண்டுங்கள்”. லூக்கா 6:28

Jesus says to "bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you". Luke 6:28

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…


நம்மை காயப்படுத்தியவர்களுக்காக பிரார்த்தனை செய்வதன் மூலம், நாம் நமக்கு ஏற்படும் பாதிப்புகளிலிருந்து விடுபடவும், பாவிகளான  நமக்காக மரித்த கிறிஸ்துவின் அன்பையும், கிருபையையும் பிரதிபலிக்க முடியும். நாம் பிரார்த்தனை செய்ய தயாரா?

By praying for those who hurt us, we can release ourselves from victimhood and reflect the love and grace of Christ, who died for us even when we were sinners.  Are we ready to pray?

“ஏழைகளே, நீங்கள் பேறுபெற்றோர்; ஏனெனில் இறையாட்சி உங்களுக்கு உரியதே”. - லூக்கா 6:20

“Blessed are you who are poor for yours is the kingdom of God”. - Luke 6:20

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

உலகில் வறுமை, பசி, அழுகை போன்ற துன்பங்கள் ஒரு சாபமல்ல, மாறாக, கடவுளை தங்கள் இறுதி பொக்கிஷமாகக் கொண்டவர்களுக்கு இவை நித்திய மகிழ்ச்சியையும் திருப்தியையும் அளிக்கக்கூடிய தற்காலிக நிலையாகும். உலகின் துன்பங்களுக்கு நாம் தயாராக இருக்கிறோமா?

The worldly suffering like poverty, hunger, and weeping is not a curse but a temporary state that can lead to eternal joy and satisfaction when one has God as their ultimate treasure. Are we ready for the worldly sufferings?

“கடவுளிடம் வேண்டுதல் செய்வதில் இரவெல்லாம் செலவிட்டார். பன்னிருவரைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து அவர்களுக்குத் திருத்தூதர் என்று பெயரிட்டார்”. லூக்கா 6-13 

“And when it was day, he called his disciples; and he chose from them twelve, whom also he named apostles”. Luke 6-13

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இது குறிப்பிடத்தக்க வாழ்க்கை முடிவுகளுக்கு ஆழ்ந்த பிரார்த்தனை மற்றும் தெய்வீக வழிகாட்டுதலைத் தேடுவதற்கான தேவையை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது. இது சாதாரணமான தேர்வு அல்ல, மாறாக ஆழமான தாக்கங்களுடன் கூடிய தெய்வீகமாக வழிநடத்தப்பட, வேண்டுமென்றே செய்யப்பட்ட தேர்வாகும்.

This shows the need for prayerful contemplation and seeking divine guidance for significant life decisions. This was not a casual selection but a deliberate, God-directed choice with profound implications.

“இதோ! கன்னி கருவுற்று ஓர் ஆண்மகவைப் பெற்றெடுப்பார். அக்குழந்தைக்கு இம்மானுவேல் எனப் பெயரிடுவர்”.  மத்தேயு 1-23

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”). Matthew 1-23

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

“இம்மானுவேல்” என்ற பெயர், “கடவுள் நம்மோடு இருக்கிறார்” என்று பொருள்படுவது, இந்த வசனத்தின் செய்தியின் மையமாக உள்ளது. இது கடவுளின் தெய்வீக இருப்பு வெறும் வாக்குறுதி மட்டுமல்ல, ஆனால் இயேசுவின் பிறப்பில் வெளிப்படுத்தப்பட்ட ஒரு உண்மையாகும் என்பதைக் குறிக்கிறது.

The name Immanuel, meaning "God with us," is central to the verse's message. It signifies that God's divine presence is not merely a promise but a reality, made manifest in the birth of Jesus.

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இந்த வசனம் உண்மையான சீடத்துவத்திற்கு தீவிரமான அர்ப்பணிப்பு தேவை என்பதை வலியுறுத்துகிறது. இது எல்லாவற்றையும் உண்மையில் துறப்பது பற்றிய அவசியமல்ல, ஆனால் கடவுளை முதலிடத்தில் வைத்து, எல்லாம் கடவுளுக்கு சொந்தம் என்று உணர்ந்து, ஒருவரின் உரிமைகளை அனைத்தையும் கைவிடுவது பற்றியது.

The verse emphasizes that true discipleship requires a radical commitment, it's not necessarily about literally giving up everything, but about putting God first and surrendering one's claim on all things, recognizing they belong to God.

ஓய்வு நாளில் செய்யக் கூடாததை நீங்கள் செய்வதேன்? லூக்கா 6: 1-5

Why are you doing what is unlawful on the sabbath? Luke 6:1-5

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

ஓய்வு நாள் என்பது விதிகளைப் பின்பற்றுவதற்காக அல்ல; மாறாக, கடவுளின் இரக்கமும் மனிதரின் தேவைகளுக்கான அக்கறையுமாகும். தன்னை “ஓய்வுநாளின்  ஆண்டவர்” என்று அறிவிப்பதன் மூலம், உண்மையான ஓய்வும் பரிசுத்தமும் அவரில் இருப்பதை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறார். நாம் விதிகளுக்குப் பின் செல்லாமல், அன்பும் இரக்கமும் மேலானவை எனக் கொண்டு ஆண்டவரை உண்மையிலேயே விசுவாசிக்கிறோமா?

Jesus reminds us of that sabbath is not about following rules but about God’s mercy and care for human need. By calling Himself “Lord of the Sabbath,” He shows that true rest and holiness are found in Him, and faith is fulfilled by love and compassion. Do we honor the Lord of the sabbath by placing love and mercy above rule-keeping?

மணமகன் பிரியவேண்டிய காலம் வரும்; அப்போது நோன்பு இருப்பார்கள்.லூக்கா 5: 33

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இயேசு இந்த உவமையின் மூலமாக நாம் பழையதை பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, புதியதற்கு எதிர்ப்புடையவர்களாக இருக்கக் கூடாது என்பதை உணர்த்துகிறார். அவருடைய பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் புதிய செயலுக்கு நம் மனமும், நம் இதயமும் திறந்திருக்க வேண்டும். பழைய தொட்டிகளில் புதிய திராட்சை ரசத்தை ஊற்ற முடியாது என்பதுபோல், கடவுள் நமக்குள் செய்ய விரும்பும் புதிய காரியங்களைப் பெற நாம் புதிய தொட்டிகள் போன்று திறந்த மனதுடன், தயார் நிலையில் இருக்க அழைக்கிறார். நாம் கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தையும், அவர் நம்மை நோக்கி வைத்துள்ள திட்டத்தையும் அறிந்து வளரத் தயாராக உள்ளோமா?

Jesus through the parable teaches us not to hold rigidly to the past or to resist the new work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. He wants our minds and hearts to be like the new wineskins open and ready to receive the new wine of the Holy Spirit. Are we eager to grow in the knowledge and understanding of God's word and plan for our life?

அனைத்தையும் விட்டுவிட்டு இயேசுவைப் பின்பற்றினார்கள். - லூக்கா 5: 1

They left everything and followed Jesus. Luke 5: 1

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இந்த நிகழ்வு, சாதாரணமான மற்றும் குறைபாடுள்ள நம்மைப் போல உள்ளவர்களை கடவுள் அபூர்வமான பணிக்காக அழைக்கிறாரென்று நினைவூட்டுகிறது. நாம் நமது முயற்சிகளை அவரிடம் ஒப்படைத்து, அவரது வார்த்தையை கேட்கும்போது, அவர் நம் வாழ்வை மாற்றி, தமது தூய பணிக்கான கருவிகளாக நம்மை மாற்றுகிறார்.

நம் முயற்சிகள் தோல்வியடைந்தபோதும், நாம் இயேசுவின் வார்த்தையில் நம்பிக்கை வைக்கிறோமா ?

This instance reminds us that God calls ordinary, imperfect people for extraordinary purposes. When we surrender our efforts to Him and listen to His word, He transforms our lives and makes us instruments of His mission.

When our efforts fail, do we still trust in the word of Jesus?

நான் மற்ற ஊர்களிலும் இறையாட்சியைப் பற்றி நற்செய்தி அறிவிக்க வேண்டும் லூக்கா 4:38-44

To the other towns also I must proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of God. Luke 4:38-44

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இயேசுவின் சீடர்களாகிய நாம், தந்தையுடன்  நெருக்கமான தொடர்புக்காகவும், மற்றவர்களுக்கு நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கவும் ஜெபத்திற்கு முன்னுரிமை அளிக்கவும்  அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். சிமோன் தன் மாமியாருக்காக வேண்டியது போல, நாம் மற்றவர்கள் தேவைப்பட்ட நேரத்தில் அவர்களுக்காக மன்றாடும்போது, நாமும் கடவுளின் அருளைப் பெறுவோம். இயேசுவை போல், நாமும் தினமும் அமைதியாக ஜெபிப்பதிற்கு நேரம் ஒதுக்கிறோமா ?

As disciples of Jesus, we are called to prioritize prayer for intimate communion with the Father and to proclaim the Gospel to others. Like Simon interceding for his mother-in-law, when we pray for those in need, we too are blessed with God’s grace. Do we make space for silent prayer in our daily life, like Jesus did?

வாழ்வோரின் நாட்டினிலே ஆண்டவரின் நலன்களைக் காண்பேன். - திருப்பாடல்கள் 27: 13 

I believe that I shall see the good things of the Lord in the land of the living. - Psalm 27: 13 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இந்த திருப்பாடல்களின் மூலம் ஆண்டவரின் பிரசன்னம் இரட்சிப்பு மற்றும் வழிபாடு, திவ்விய நற்கருணையிலும்,  ஆராதனையிலும் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது.நம்பிக்கை, பொறுமை மற்றும் ஆழ்ந்த விசுவாசம் பயம் மற்றும் கவலைகளை அகற்றி, கடவுளின் நன்மைகள் தன் நேரத்தில் நிச்சயமாக வெளிப்படும்.நாம் இருண்ட தருணங்களில்  ஆண்டவரை நமது ஒளியாக நாடுகிறோமா?

The psalm reminds us of the Lord’s real presence in salvation and worship, especially in the Eucharist and adoration. Trust, perseverance, and deep faith dispel fear and anxiety, allowing God’s goodness to unfold in His time. Do we turn to God as our light in dark moments?

இயேசுவோடு இணைந்த நிலையில் இறந்தோரைக் கடவுள் அவருடன் அழைத்து வருவார். - 1 தெசலோனிக்கர் 4:13

Jesus will bring along with him those who have fallen asleep. - Thessalonians 4:13

மனதில் சிந்திக்க… 

இறப்பு முடிவல்ல நித்திய வாழ்வுக்கான வழியாகும். உயிர்த்தெழுதலின் நம்பிக்கையில் நாம் வாழ வேண்டும்; கிறிஸ்துவுடனும் நம் அன்பினருடனும் ஒன்றிக்கப்போகிறோம் என்ற உறுதியில் ஆறுதல் பெறலாம். நம் இறப்பின்போது அல்லது அவருடைய மறுபிறப்பில் கிறிஸ்துவை சந்திக்க நாம் தயாராக இருக்கிறோமா?

We are called to live in hope, knowing that death is not the end but a doorway to eternal life. We are invited to trust in the Resurrection and take comfort in the promise that we will be reunited with our loved ones and with Christ at His return. Are we prepared to meet Christ, whether at death or at His coming again?
