“அடையாளங்களையும் அருஞ்செயல்களையும் கண்டாலன்றி நீங்கள் நம்பவே மாட்டீர்கள்” - யோவான் 4: 48

“Unless you people see signs and wonders you will never believe” -John 4: 48

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இன்றும் கூட, கடவுளின் வல்லமையின் சான்றாக அடையாளங்களையும் அற்புதங்களையும் தேட நாம் சில சமயங்களில் சோதிக்கப்படுகிறோம். நமது ஜெபங்களுக்கு உடனடியாக பதில் கிடைக்காவிட்டாலும், உண்மையான விசுவாசம் என்பது அவரை நம்புவதாகும் என்பதை இயேசு நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறார்.

Even today, we are sometimes tempted to seek signs and wonders as proof of God's power or as a way to force belief. Jesus reminds us that true faith is about trusting in Him, even when our prayers are not answered immediately.

மனதில் பதிக்க…

  

“தூங்குகிறவனே, விழித்தெழு; இறந்தவனே, உயிர்பெற்றெழு; கிறிஸ்து உன்மீது ஒளிர்ந்தெழுவார்” - எபேசியர் 5: 14

“Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” -Ephesians 5:14

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

விசுவாசிகளாகிய நாம் பாவத்தின் இருளிலிருந்து விழித்தெழுந்து, இந்த உலகில் ஒரு ஒளியாக இருக்க அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம் என்பதை இந்த வசனம் வலியுறுத்துகிறது, நமது செயல்களிலும் மற்றவர்களுடனான தொடர்புகளிலும் கடவுளின் நன்மை, நீதி மற்றும் உண்மையை பிரதிபலிக்கிறது.

This verse emphasizes that we believers are called to wake up from the darkness of sin and be a light in this world reflecting God's goodness, righteousness, and truth in our actions and interactions with others.

மனதில் பதிக்க…

  

 “நான் விரும்புவது பலியை அல்ல, இரக்கத்தையே விரும்புகின்றேன்; எரிபலிகளைவிட, கடவுளை அறியும் அறிவையே நான் விரும்புகின்றேன்”  - ( ஒசாயா 6:6)

“For Faithful Love is what pleases me, not sacrifice; knowledge of God, not burnt offerings.” -  (Hosea 6:6)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

கடவுளின் ஆசீரால் கிடைத்த செல்வத்தை அவரின் பணிக்காக நம் பங்கை அளிக்க அழைக்க படுகிறோம். ஆனால் நாமோ நமது பாவ செயல்களுக்கு  மன்னிப்பு பெற கடவுளுக்கே சன்மானம் கொடுக்கிறோம். கடவுளை பற்றி அறிந்து அவரின் வார்த்தை படி நம் வாழ்க்கையில் நடக்க  முயல்வோமா? சிந்திப்போம்

We have been called to contribute to the mission of God from the wealth gained through the blessings of God. But we use it as ransom to God to seek forgiveness for our sinful actions. Can we try to read the word of God and lead a life as per His teaching?

மனதில் பதிக்க…

  

“உன் கடவுளாகிய ஆண்டவரிடம் திரும்பி வா; நீ உன் தீச்செயலால் வீழ்ச்சியுற்றாய்”  - ( ஓசேயா 14:2)

“Come back to Yahweh your God your guilt was the cause of your downfall” -  (Hosea 14:2)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

மனிதர்களாக படைக்கப்பட்ட நாம் யாரும் சாத்தானின் சோதனைக்கு விதி விலக்கு கிடையாது. இதனை அறிந்த நம் கடவுள் நாம் எந்த நிலையில் இருந்தாலும் நம்மை அரவணைத்து ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள தயாராக இருக்கிறார் . 

கடவுளின் அழைப்பை ஏற்று நம் பாவ வாழ்க்கையை விட்டு வர தயாராக உள்ளோமா? சிந்திப்போம்

Everyone of us created as human have the tendency to fall a prey to Satan’s temptation. That’s the reason our loving God is ready to embrace and accept us whatever situation we are in. 

Are we ready to heed to God's call and leave our sinful life and return to God?

மனதில் பதிக்க…

  

“என் குரலுக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள். அப்போது நான் உங்களுக்குக் கடவுளாய் இருப்பேன். நீங்கள் எனக்கு மக்களாய் இருப்பீர்கள்”  - ( எரேமியா 7:23)

“Listen to my voice, then I will be your God and you shall be my people. In everything, follow the way that I mark out for you, and you shall prosper.” -  (Jeremiah 7:23)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

கிறிஸ்துவ குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்ததால் மட்டுமே நாம் கிறிஸ்துவின் மக்களாக கருதப்பட மாட்டோம். அவரின் வார்த்தைக்கு சேவிகொடுத்து அதன் படி வாழ அழைக்கப்படுகிரோம்.

இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை கடவுளாக பின்பற்றும் நாமும் அவரின் வாரத்தையின் படி நடந்து இயேசுவின் பிள்ளைகளாக வாழ முயற்சிப்போமா

Being born as Christians doesn't make us the people of God. God makes it very clear that we need to listen to the word of God and follow it in our life to be called His own people. We, the followers of Christ, can we try to read Bible every day and lead a life as per His teachings and be called His children?

“ இவை அனைத்தையும் கடைப்பிடித்துக் கற்பிக்கிறவரோ விண்ணரசில் பெரியவர் எனக் கருதப்படுவார்.”  - (மத்தேயு 5:19)

“But the person who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of Heaven.”  (Matthew 5:19)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

கடவுள் நம் வாழ்வை செம்மைப்படுத்தவே கட்டளைகளை கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். அவற்றை பின் பற்றுவதை உலக ஆசைகளுக்கு தடையாக கருதாமல் நம்மை பாவத்தில் விழாமல் வாழ கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் கொடையாக கருதி வாழ்ந்து கடவுள் வாக்களித்துள்ள  நிறைவான ஆசீரைப் பெற முயல்வோமா?

 God has given us the commandments to refine our life. Instead of thinking it as an impediment to enjoy the worldly pleasures, shall we realize it as a gift given to us to live without falling into sin, and strive to receive the blessings that God has promised?

மனதில் பதிக்க…

  “மனிதரின் பொறுமையைச் சோதித்து மனம் சலிப்படையச் செய்தது போதாதோ? என் கடவுளின் பொறுமையைக்கூட சோதிக்கப் பார்க்கிறீர்களோ?”  - ( எசாயா 7:13)

“Listen now, House of David: are you not satisfied with trying human patience that you should try my God's patience too?” (Isaiah  7:13)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

கடவுள் தாம் படைத்த அனைத்து உயிரினங்களையும் எந்த நிபந்தனையும்  பாராமல் நிறைவாக  ஆசீர்வதிக்கிறார். ஆனால் நாமோ கடவுளிடமே நம் தேவைகளுக்காக பேரம் பேசும் மக்களாக இருக்கிறோம். கடவுள் மேல் முழு நம்பிக்கை கொண்டு அவரின் திட்டத்தின் படி வாழ்வில் நடக்க முயற்சி செய்வோமா

 God showers His blessings immensely on all His creation without any condition. But we bargain even with God to be good or do good on condition that our wishes/prayers get answered by God. Can we try to build our immense faith in God and lead our life as per His plan?

  “இறைவாக்கினர் இதைவிட அரிதான ஒன்றை உமக்குக் கூறி இருந்தால், நீர் அதைச் செய்திருப்பீர் அல்லவா? மாறாக, ‘மூழ்கி எழும்; நலமடைவீர்’ என்று அவர் கூறும்போது அதை நீர் செய்வதற்கென்ன?” (II அரசர்கள் 5: 13)

“Father, if the prophet had asked you to do something difficult, would you not have done it? All the more reason, then, when he says to you, "Bathe, and you will become clean” (II Kings 5:13)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

கடவுள் தம் பிள்ளைகளை  நிறைவாக ஆசிர்வதிக்கின்றார். அவர் நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்பது எல்லாம் அன்பு இரக்கம் பகிர்வு போன்ற சிறு காரியங்கள் மட்டுமே. ஆனால் நாமோ உலக ஆசைக்காக பாவ வாழ்க்கையில் நடந்து அவர் மேல் நம்பிக்கை இல்லாமல் இருக்கிறோம். இந்த தவக்காலத்தில் உலக காரியங்களுக்கு பதிலாக கடவுள் மேல் நம்பிக்கையை வளர்க்க முயல்வோமா? சிந்திப்போம்

 

God showers His blessings immensely on His children. All that He expects from us is little things like Loving, being kind, sharing etc. But we get occupied with worldly happiness and lose the faith in God... Can we utilize this Lenten season to stop running behind worldly things & instead try to build the faith in God?

 மனதில் பதிக்க…

 “அப்படி அல்ல என உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன். மனம் மாறாவிட்டால் நீங்கள் அனைவரும் அவ்வாறே அழிவீர்கள்”  - ( லூக்கா 13:3)

“They were not, I tell you. No; but unless you repent you will all perish as they did.” (Luke 13:3)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

நம் கத்தோலிக்க திருச்சபை நாம் மனம் திருந்தி கடவுளிடம் வர பல்வேறு வாய்ப்புகளைக் கொடுக்கிறது. நமது கடவுளாம் இயேசுவும் பாவிகளை ஒதுக்கிவிடாமல் அவர்களை நேசித்தது மீட்கவே சிலுவை சாவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்.

இந்த தவக்காலத்தின் வழியாக மனம் மாற கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் நல் வாய்ப்பை பயன்படுத்தி இயேசுவின் பிள்ளைகளாய் வாழ முயற்சிப்போமா?

 

Our Catholic Church gives us numerous opportunities to repent for our sins and turn back to God. Even our Lord Jesus Christ came into this world to redeem us from our sins and not leave us to suffer.

So, can we use this opportunity of Lent season to Repent for our sins and lead a life as the children of God?

மகனே, நீ எப்போதும் என்னுடன் இருக்கிறாய்; என்னுடையதெல்லாம் உன்னுடையதே. லூக்கா 15: 31 

Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours Luke 15: 31 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

ஊதாரி மகனைப் போல, கடவுளின் அன்பை நாம் ஒருபோதும் சந்தேகிக்கவோ, அவர் நமக்குக் காட்டிய கருணையை அலட்சியப்படுத்தவோ எண்ணாமல், அவருடைய அன்பினால் நாம் நிரப்பப்படுவோம். 

Like what happened to Prodigal son, let us never doubt God's love nor take for granted the mercy He have shown us. Let us be filled with His transforming love.

கட்டுவோர் புறக்கணித்த கல்லே கட்டடத்துக்கு மூலைக்கல் ஆயிற்று. ஆண்டவரால் இது நிகழ்ந்துள்ளது; நம் கண்களுக்கு இது வியப்பாயிற்று! மத்தேயு 21:42 

The very stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner; this was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes! Matthew 21:42 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

தீய செயல்களை  நன்மை செயல்களாக மாற்றி நோக்கங்களை நிறைவேற்றுவது, கடவுள் தீமையை வெல்லும் பல வழிகளில் ஒன்று. தீமை உண்மையில் தன்னைத்தானே தோற்கடித்துக் கொள்வதை நாம் காண்கிறோம். தீய சக்திகளால் நாம் அச்சுறுத்தப்பட்டு சோதிக்கப்படும்போது, ​​கடவுள் மகிமையின் மீது நம் கண்களைப் பதிக்க தேவையான அருளைப் பெறுவோம். 

One of the many ways God triumphs over evil is by turning evil actions into positive actions to fulfill His purposes. We see that evil actually defeats itself. When we are tempted to be intimidated by the forces of evil, let us turn evil actions into positive actions through grace of God and faith of God.

மகனே, நீ உன் வாழ்நாளில் நலன்களையே பெற்றாய்; அதே வேளையில் இலாசர் இன்னல்களையே அடைந்தார். அதை நினைத்துக்கொள். இப்பொழுது அவர் இங்கே ஆறுதல் பெறுகிறார்; நீயோ மிகுந்த வேதனைப்படுகிறாய். லூக்கா 16: 25 

Son, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner evil things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish. Luke 16: 25 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

கடவுளின் பொருளாதாரத்தில், தங்களிடம் உள்ளதை உடைமையாகப் பிடித்துக் கொள்பவர்கள், இறுதியில் அனைத்தையும் இழக்கிறார்கள், அதே நேரத்தில் தாராளமாகப் பகிர்ந்து கொடுப்பவர்கள் தாங்கள் கொடுத்ததை விட பல மடங்கு அதிகமாகத் திரும்பப் பெறுகிறார்கள். சிந்திப்போம். 

In God's economy, those who hold on possessively to what they have, lose it all in the end, while those who share generously receive back many times more than they gave away. Let us think.

நான் குடிக்கப் போகும் பாத்திரத்தில் நீங்கள் குடிக்க முடியுமா? மத்தேயு 20:22 

Are you able to drink the cup that I am to drink? Matthew 20:22 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

"நான் குடிக்கப் போகும் பாத்திரத்தில் நீங்கள் குடிக்க முடியுமா?" என்ற அதே கேள்வியையே இயேசு நம் ஒவ்வொருவரிடமும் கேட்கிறார். இந்த பாத்திரம் கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்க்கையின் வழக்கமாக இருக்கலாம், அதன் அன்றாட தியாகங்கள், ஏமாற்றங்கள், பின்னடைவுகள், போராட்டங்கள் மற்றும் சோதனைகள் அனைத்தும் இதில் அடங்கும். சிந்திப்போம். 

The Lord Jesus asks each of us the same question, "Can you drink the cup that I am to drink"? The kind of cup might be the routine of Christian life, with all its daily sacrifices, disappointments, set-backs, struggles, and temptations. Let us think.

உங்களுள் பெரியவர் உங்களுக்குத் தொண்டராக இருக்க வேண்டும். மத்தேயு 23:11

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

நம் சுயநல பெருமையிலிருந்து நம்மை விடுவிக்க இயேசு நமக்காக சேவை செய்யும் பணியாளனானார். நம் தன்னலமற்ற சேவை மூலமும் நம் கருணை மூலமும் மற்றவர்களை நேசிக்க அழைக்கப்பட்ட நாம் பணிவாக இருக்க முயற்சிப்போம்.  

Lord Jesus became a servant for our sake to set us free from our selfish pride. Let us try to be humble as we are called to love others with selfless service and kindness.

உங்கள் தந்தை இரக்கமுள்ளவராய் இருப்பதுபோல நீங்களும் இரக்கம் உள்ளவர்களாய் இருங்கள். லூக்கா 6:36

Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Luke 6:36

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

நம் பரலோகத் தந்தை நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் இரக்கம் காட்டுவது போல, நாம் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் இரக்கம் காட்டுவதன் மூலம் பிதாவாகிய கடவுளின் இரக்கத்தைப் பின்பற்ற அழைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளோம். நமக்காகச் சிந்தப்பட்ட இயேசுவின் இரத்தத்தின் மூலம் கடவுள் நமக்கு காட்டிய இரக்கத்தை நாம் அனுபவித்திருக்கிறோமா? 

We are called to imitate God the Father's mercy by being merciful towards one another just as our heavenly Father has been merciful towards each one of us. Have we experienced the mercy God has for us through the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed for us?

மனதில் பதிக்க…

ஒளிரும் மேகத்தினின்று தந்தையின் குரலொலி கேட்டது: “என் அன்பார்ந்த மைந்தர் இவரே; இவருக்குச் செவிசாயுங்கள்.” மத்தேயு 17:5

From the shining cloud the Father’s voice is heard: This is my beloved Son, hear him. Matthew 17:5

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

கடவுள் தம்முடைய மகிமையை நம்முடன் பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள ஆசையாக இருக்கிறார்! மலையில் இயேசு உருமாறியதை சீடர்கள் காணும்போது நாம் அதை உணர்கிறோம். இயேசு அதற்கான வழியை நமக்குக் காட்டுகிறார்: என்னைப் பின்பற்றுங்கள் - என் வார்த்தைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள் - நான் உங்களுக்காகத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த பாதையில் நடங்கள். கடவுளின் மகிமையைக் காண நாம் தயாரா?

God is eager to share His glory with us! We get a glimpse of this when the disciples see Jesus transfigured on the mountain. And Jesus shows us the way to the Father's glory: follow me - obey my words - take the path I have chosen for you. Are we prepared to see God's glory?
