"பாலைநிலத்தில் குரல் ஒன்று முழங்குகிறது: ஆண்டவருக்காக வழியை ஆயத்தமாக்குங்கள்; அவருக்காகப் பாதையைச் செம்மையாக்குங்கள்; லூக்கா 3:4

“A voice of one crying out in the desert: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths. - Luke 3:4

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நம் இயேசு ஆண்டவரின் வருகைக்காக திருமுழுக்கு யோவான் மக்களை ஆயத்தப்படுத்தியது போல் இயேசுவின் மாட்சிமையான இரண்டாம் வருகைக்காக நமது உள்ளங்களையும் மிகுந்த ஆயத்தத்தோடு வைத்துக்கொள்வதற்கு முக்கியத்துவம் கொடுப்போமா ? சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்.

John the Baptist prepared the people for the coming of our Lord Jesus. Similarly, shall we keep our souls highly prepared for the glorious second coming of Jesus? Let us think and act.

ஆண்டவருக்காகக் காத்திருப்போர் நற்பேறு பெற்றோர்.- எசா 30: 18

Blessed are all who wait for the Lord. - Isaiah 30:18

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

என்ன நடந்தாலும் சரி, நம்முடைய விசுவாச வாழ்வில் நாம் எப்போதும் இறைவன் மீது வைத்திருக்கிற நம்பிக்கையிலிருந்து மாறிவிடக்கூடாது. ஆண்டவர் நம்மோடு, நமக்குள்ளாக  இருக்கிறார் என்கிற உணர்வுள்ளவர்களாக வாழுவோமா?

No matter what happens, we must never deviate from our faith in God in our life. Shall we live with the consciousness that the Lord is with and within us?

பின்பு அவர் அவர்களின் கண்களைத் தொட்டு, “நீங்கள் நம்பியபடியே உங்களுக்கு நிகழட்டும்” என்றார். - மத்தேயு  9:29

Then he touched their eyes and said, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.” - Matthew 9:29

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இயேசுவிடம் சென்றால் தங்கள் குறைகள் தீர்ந்துவிடும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையில் அவரை பின்தொடர்ந்த இரு குருடர்களைப் போல நாமும் இறை விசுவாசத்தில் வேரூன்றி நம்பிக்கையுடன் அவரை பின்தொடர்வோமா? 

The two blind men followed Jesus with faith that their issues will be resolved. Shall we also follow Jesus rooted in faith?

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நம் இன்பத்திலும் , துன்பத்திலும் , ஏழ்மையிலும் , வளமையிலும் , உடல் நலத்திலும், நோயிலும் இறைவனை போற்றி புகழ்ந்து  "இறைவன் கொடுத்தார் ; இறைவன் எடுத்துக்கொண்டார் " என்ற யோபுவின் மனநிலையில் வாழ முயற்சி செய்வோமா?

In our happiness or suffering, poverty or prosperity, health or sickness shall we always give praise and thanks to our Lord and live in the mindset of Job saying, "God gave, God has taken it away"?

“நான் இம்மக்கள் கூட்டத்தின்மீது பரிவு கொள்கிறேன்." - மத்தேயு 15:32

 “My heart is moved with pity for the crowd" - Matthew 15:32

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இன்றைய நற்செய்தி வாசகத்தில், பசியாய் இருக்கும் மக்கள் மீது இயேசு பரிவு கொள்கிறார். இன்றும் உலகில் பத்தில் ஒருவர் பசியாய் இருக்கிறார்கள். நமக்கு இறைவன் கொடுத்த கொடையாகிய உணவை விரயம் செய்யாமல், பசித்திருப்போருக்கு உணவு கொடுத்து, அவர்களோடு பகிர்ந்து உண்போமா ? 

In today's Gospel reading, Jesus feels pity for his people who are hungry. Statistically, today in our world, one in ten remain hungry. Shall we not waste the food that God has given us, but rather feed/share with people who are in need of food?

உலகெங்கும் சென்று படைப்பிற்கெல்லாம் நற்செய்தியைப் பறைசாற்றுங்கள். மாற்கு 16:15

Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

ஒருவன் உலகமெல்லாம் தனதாக்கிக் கொண்டாலும் அவன் ஆன்மாவிற்குக் கேடு விளைந்தால், அவனுக்கு வரும் பயனென்ன? என்ற வார்த்தைகளால் மனம் மாறிய புனித சவேரியாரைப் போல நாமும் மனம்மாறி இறைவனை ஏற்று பிறருக்கும் நம் நல்நடத்தையால்  நற்செய்தியைப் பரப்புவோமா?

"What profit would there be for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?". These are the words that changed St. Francis Xavier to proclaim the good news to everyone. Shall we follow his footsteps to believe our Lord and proclaim the good news to all through our good gestures?

அகமகிழ்வோடு ஆண்டவரது இல்லத்திற்குப் போவோம். - திபா 122:1

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

மனிதர்களாகிய நாம்  ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் ஒரு உள்ளார்ந்த மன அமைதி தேவை படுகிறது. அதை நாம் தேவாலயத்திலே பெற முடியும். கோவில்களில் வெளி வேடங்களையும் , வெற்று அலங்காரங்களையும் தவிர்த்து உள்ளத்தின் ஆன்மீக வளர்ச்சிக்கு முயற்சிப்போமா?

Each of us need inner peace of mind. We can get that in Church. Shall we avoid boasting, flashy decorations at Church and seek spiritual development?

ஆண்டவரே, உம்மை நோக்கி, என் உள்ளத்தை உயர்த்துகிறேன். திபா 25:1

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

அமைதியிலே ஆண்டவர் நம்மோடு உரையாடுவார். நம் மனதை ஒருமுகப்படுத்தி இறைவனின் சந்நிதியில், நற்கருணை நாதரின் முன்னிலையில், உயர்த்தியவரை உற்று நோக்குங்கள் என்றுரைத்த ஆண்டவரை நோக்கி நம் உள்ளத்தை உயர்த்துவோமா? 

The Lord will converse with us in silence. Shall we focus our minds in the presence of the Eucharist and lift up our hearts to listen to Him?

என் பின்னே வாருங்கள்; நான் உங்களை மனிதரைப் பிடிப்பவர் ஆக்குவேன்- மத்தேயு 4: 19

Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men - Matthew 4: 19

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இயேசுவின் பின்னால் நாம் நடந்து செல்வதோடு மட்டும் நின்று விடாமல், அவரைப் பின்பற்றவும், அவரிடமிருந்து கற்றுக்கொள்ளவும், அவருடைய திட்டத்திற்கு அடிபணியவும், பிறரை இறைவனிடம்  அழைத்து வரவும் இன்று நமக்கு அழைப்புவிடுகின்றார். அழைப்புக்கு செவிமடுப்போமா?

Jesus calls us to follow him, not just walk behind him, but to imitate him, learn from him, submit to his plan and hold responsibility to disciple others. Are we ready to heed his call?

விண்ணும் மண்ணும் ஒழிந்துபோகும். ஆனால் என் வார்த்தைகள் ஒழியவேமாட்டா- லூக்கா 21: 33

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away Luke 21: 33

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தை சத்தியத்தையும் பாதுகாப்பையும் வழங்குகிறது, மேலும் தீமைக்கு எதிராக நிற்கும் பாறையாகும். கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தையை தினமும் படிப்பதன் மூலம் தீமையை வெல்ல நாம் தயாரா?

The word of God offers truth and security and is a rock on which to stand against evil. Are we ready to defeat evil by reading God's word every day?
