“மனம் மாறுங்கள், ஏனெனில் விண்ணரசு நெருங்கி வந்துவிட்டது” - மத்தேயு 3: 1
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near” - Matthew 3: 1
மனதில் சிந்திக்க…
இந்த வசனம், நமது ஆண்டவரின் இரண்டாம் வருகை வெகு தொலைவில் இல்லை என்றும், நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாள் நெருங்கி வருகிறது என்றும் நமக்கு நினைவூட்டுகிறது. மணமகனின் வருகைக்காக நாம் நமது விளக்கைத் தயார் செய்துவிட்டோமா, அல்லது நித்தியத்தின் வாசலைத் தாண்ட முடியாத உலகியல் பொக்கிஷங்களை இன்னும் விடாமுயற்சியுடன் மெருகூட்டுகிறோமா?
This verse reminds us that the second coming of our Lord is not too far away, and the day of judgement is nearing. Have we prepared our lamp for the Bridegroom's arrival, or are we still diligently polishing the temporal treasures that cannot cross the threshold of eternity?
