 மனதில் பதிக்க…

ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துங்கள்' என்னும் புதிய கட்டளையை நான் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கிறேன். நான் உங்களிடம் அன்பு செலுத்தியது போல நீங்களும் ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடம் அன்பு செலுத்துங்கள், என்கிறார் ஆண்டவர். யோவான் 13:34

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." John 13:34

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

நம்மை உலகின் பாவங்களிருந்து மீட்பதற்காக நம் இயேசு ஆண்டவர் என்னவெல்லாம் செய்ய வேண்டுமோ அவை எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்தார் எந்த அளவுக்கு தன்னை தாழ்த்த முடியுமோ அந்த அளவுக்கு தன்னைத்தாழ்த்திக்கொண்டார் நாமும் மற்றவரிடத்தில் தாழ்மையுடன் நடந்து கொண்டு அன்போடு வாழ்வோம் .

Our Lord Jesus did everything He had to do to save us from the sins of the world. He humbled Himself to the extent He could. Let us also act humbly toward others and live in love.

 மனதில் பதிக்க…

என்னுடன் பாத்திரத்தில் தொட்டு உண்பவனே என்னைக் காட்டிக்கொடுப்பான். மானிடமகன், தம்மைப்பற்றி மறைநூலில் எழுதியுள்ளபடியே போகிறார். மத்தேயு 26:23

 Jesus replied, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me will betray me. Matthew 26:23

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

திவ்விய நற்கருணையில் உள்ள இயேசு ஆண்டவரை உற்கொள்ளும் நாமும் அடுத்தவர் மேல் குற்றம் சுமத்துவதன் மூலம் இயேசுவை எத்தனை முறை காயப்படுத்தி இருப்போம் என்று சிந்தித்துப் பார்த்து, இனியாவது நமது குற்றத்தை மட்டுமே காண நமது பார்வை தெளிவாக இருக்கிறதா என்று சிந்திப்போமோ ?

As we receive the Lord Jesus in the Eucharist, may we reflect on how many times we have hurt Jesus by blaming others, and ask ourselves if our vision is clear enough to see only our own guilt?

தம் சீடர்களுடன் பந்தியமர்ந்த இயேசு உள்ளம் கலங்கியவராய், “உங்களுள் ஒருவன் என்னைக் காட்டிக்கொடுப்பான் என உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்” என்று திட்டவட்டமாகக் கூறினார். -   யோவான் 13:21

After he had said this, Jesus was troubled in spirit and testified, “Very truly I tell you, one of you is going to betray me.” John 13:21

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இயேசுவின் நெருங்கிய சீடரான யூதாசு தன்னிடமிருந்து விலகிச்செல்லப்போகிறான் என்பதை நினைத்தே இயேசு ஆண்டவரின்  உள்ளம் கலங்குகின்றது இதை மனதில் பதித்து என்ன நடந்தாலும் இயேசுவிடமிருந்து விலகாமல் வாழ முயற்சிப்போம் .

  Jesus's heart was troubled at the thought that Judas, the closest disciple of Jesus was about to depart from Him. Let us keep this in mind and no matter what, let us try to live our lives without departing from Jesus.

ஆண்டவராகிய நான் நீதியை நிலைநாட்டுமாறு உம்மை அழைத்தேன்; உம் கையைப் பற்றிப்பிடித்து, உம்மைப் பாதுகாப்பேன்; மக்களுக்கு உடன்படிக்கையாகவும் பிற இனத்தாருக்கு ஒளியாகவும் நீர் இருக்குமாறு செய்வேன். -

எசாயா 42:6

“I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I have taken you by the hand and kept you; I have given you as a covenant to the people, a light to the nations." - Isaiah 42:6

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

நம்மை பெயர் சொல்லி அழைத்த கடவுள் மற்றவர்களுக்கு எப்போதும் பயன்படுகின்ற ஒரு பாத்திரமாக இருக்கவும் பாகுபாடில்லாமல் நடந்து கொள்ளவுமே நமக்கு அழைப்பு விடுக்கிறார்.ஆகவே நம்மை பாதுகாக்கும் கடவுளுக்கு நன்றியுடையவர்களாக செயல்படுவோமா...

 God calls us by our name and use us to be a vessel to others and to act without prejudice. So can we act with some gratitude to God who protects us…

மனதில் பதிக்க…

கடவுள் வடிவில் விளங்கிய கிறிஸ்து, கடவுளுக்கு இணையாய் இருக்கும் நிலையை வலிந்து பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டியதொன்றாகக் கருதவில்லை. பிலிப்பியர்2:6

Christ, while being in the form of God and equal with God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped or exploited. Philippians 2:6

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

கடவுளாய் இருக்கும் இயேசு ஆண்டவர் சிலுவைச்சாவையே ஏற்கும் அளவுக்கு தன்னை தாழ்த்திக்கொண்டார் என்றால் தூசியிலும் தூசியான நாம் எந்தளவுக்கு ஒருவரோடு ஒருவர் தாழ்மையுடன் நடந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும் என்று சிந்திப்போம் ...

If the Lord Jesus, who is God, humbled Himself to the point of accepting the cross, we, less than dust, must think about how humble we should behave towards one another?

“சிதறி வாழ்ந்த கடவுளின் பிள்ளைகளை ஒன்றாய்ச் சேர்ப்பதற்காக இறக்கப் போகிறார்.” யோவான் 11:50

“You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.” John 11:50

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இங்கே கயபா தற்செயலாக இயேசுவின் மரணம் மனிதகுலத்தைக் காப்பாற்றுகிறது என்று அறிவிக்கிறார். முழு தேசமும் அழிந்து போவதை விட, இயேசு என்ற ஒரே மனிதர் இறப்பது மக்களுக்கு நல்லது என்று அவர் கூறுகிறார். நம் ஆண்டவரின் தியாகத்தை நாம் உண்மையிலேயே மதிக்கிறோமா?

Here Caiaphas unintentionally proclaims that the death of Jesus saves humanity. He says it is better for the people that one man, Jesus, die rather than the entire nation perishes. Do we truly emphasize the sacrifice of our Lord?

அதன்மூலம் தந்தை என்னுள்ளும் நான் அவருள்ளும் இருப்பதை அறிந்துணர்வீர்கள்” யோவான்10:38

Jesus says, "But if I do, though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in Him.” John 10:38

                                                 மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இயேசு குறுகிய மற்றும் சுயநல மதத் தலைவர்களால் பல சமயங்களில் மூலை முடுக்கிவிடப்பட்டு அச்சுறுத்தப்படுகிறார்,  அவரது போதனைகளும் அற்புதங்களும் மெசியாவின் அடையாளங்கள். அவர்களைப் போலன்றி, நாம் அவரை நம்ப முடியுமா, அவர் மீது ஆழமான வேரூன்றிய விசுவாசத்தை வைத்திருக்க முடியுமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

Jesus is being cornered and threatened many at times by the narrow and selfish religious leaders and Jesus had been castigated during his entire ministry as he echoed metaphors shepherded and sheep. His teachings and miracles are the signs of the messiah. Unlike them, can we believe in him and have deep rooted faith in him? Think about it!

“என் வார்த்தையைக் கடைப்பிடிப்போர் என்றுமே சாகமாட்டார்கள் என உறுதியாக உங்களுக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்” என்றார்.யோவான்8:51

Jesus states, "Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps my word, he will never see death” .

John 8:51

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இது இயேசுவின் போதனைகளை நம்பி பின்பற்றுபவர்கள் நித்திய ஜீவனை அனுபவிப்பார்கள் என்பதைக் குறிக்கிறது, அவரை நம்புபவர்களுக்கு கல்லறைக்கு அப்பால் தொடரும் ஆன்மீக இருப்பு.நாம் உண்மையிலேயே கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தையைக் கடைப்பிடிக்கிறோமா?

This signifies that those who believe in and follow Jesus's teachings will experience eternal life, a spiritual existence that continues beyond the grave for those who believe in Him. Do we truly keep God’s word?

கடவுள் உங்கள் தந்தையெனில் நீங்கள் என்மேல் அன்பு கொள்வீர்கள். நான் கடவுளிடமிருந்தே இங்கு வந்துள்ளேன். நானாக வரவில்லை; அவரே என்னை அனுப்பினார். யோவான் 8:42

If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and am here. I came not of myself, but He sent me.  John 8:42

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இயேசு தம்மை நேசிக்காதவர்கள் உண்மையிலேயே கடவுளின் பிள்ளைகள் அல்ல என்றும், பிதாவிடம் செல்வதற்கான ஒரே வழி அவரே என்றும் கூறுகிறார். நாம் உண்மையிலேயே நம் கடவுளை நேசிக்கிறோமா?

Jesus is saying that those who do not love Him are not truly children of God, and that He is the only way to the Father. Do we truly love our God?

நீங்கள் மானிட மகனைஉயர்த்திய பின்பு, ‘இருக்கிறவர் நானே’ என்பதை அறிந்துகொள்வீர்கள். யோவான் 8:28.

When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me. John 8:28.

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இயேசு தம்முடைய மரணத்தை முன்னறிவிக்கிறார்; தீர்க்கதரிசனத்தின் நிறைவேற்றம் என்று கூறுகிறார். மக்கள் எதிர்பார்த்த மெசியாவிற்கும் கடவுளுக்கும் சமமாகக் கருதுகிறார். மேலும் தம்முடைய வார்த்தைகளும் செயல்களும் கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தைகள் என்று கூறுகிறார்.

Jesus predicts His own death, lays claim to being the fulfillment of prophecy, equates Himself both with Messiah and God, and professes that His words and actions are those of God Himself.

உலகின் ஒளி நானே; என்னைப் பின்தொடர்பவர் இருளில் நடக்கமாட்டார்.  யோவான் 8:12

Jesus declares, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life. John 8:12

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இந்த வசனம், இயேசுவை, ஆன்மீக வெளிச்சத்தின் மூலமாகவும், ஒளி நிறைந்த வாழ்க்கைக்கான பாதையாகவும் எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறது, அவரைப் பின்பற்றுபவர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டுதலையும் உறுதியையும் வாக்களிக்கிறது .

This verse highlights Jesus as the source of spiritual illumination and the path to a life filled with light, promising guidance and assurance to those who follow Him.

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

லாசருவை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து எழுப்பிய நிகழ்விலிருந்து, இயேசுவுக்கு மரணத்தை வெல்லும் வல்லமை இருக்கிறது என்பதை புரிந்து கொள்ளத் தொடங்குகிறோம். எல்லாம் முடிந்துவிட்டதாகத் தோன்றும்போது, ​​நாம் நம் நம்பிக்கையைப் பற்றிக் கொண்டால், அவர் பாதைகளைச் செம்மைப்படுத்துவார், சாத்தியமற்றதைச் சாத்தியமாக்குவார்.

As Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead, we begin to understand that he has power to change death to life, both physically and spiritually. When it looks like the end, even when the facts say it is over, if we hold on to our faith, He makes the paths straight and turns out the impossible to become possible.

இயேசுவின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்டு, ``வரவேண்டிய இறைவாக்கினர் உண்மையில் இவரே'' என்றனர். வேறு சிலர், ``மெசியா இவரே'' என்றனர். யோவான் 7: 40,41

On hearing his words, some of the people said, “Surely this man is the Prophet.” Others said, “He is the Messiah.” John 7: 40, 41

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இயேசுவின் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்ட மக்கள், பாவங்களிலிருந்து தங்களை விடுவிக்க வந்த இரட்சகர் அவரே  என்று உறுதியாக நம்பினர். நமக்காக வாழ்ந்து இறந்த ஒரே ஜீவனுள்ள கடவுள் இயேசுவே என்பதை உறுதியாக நம்பவும், நமது விசுவாசத்தை அறிவிக்கவும் நாம் தயாரா?

The people who heard Jesus’s words strongly believed that “He is the Messiah”, the Savior who came to free them from sins. Are we ready to believe and proclaim our faith that Jesus is the only living God who lived and died for our sake?

‘எனக்கு அவரைத் தெரியும். நான் அவரிடமிருந்து வருகிறேன். என்னை அனுப்பியவரும் அவரே'. யோவான் 7: 29

‘I know him because I am from him and he sent me.’ -John 7:29

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இயேசு தம்முடைய பிதாவின் வேலையைச் செய்யும் ஒரு பணியுடன் வந்தார். அவர் தமக்கு மரியாதை தேடவில்லை, மாறாக பிதாவின் மகிமையைக் கொண்டுவருவதையே நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டிருந்தார். இயேசுவைப் போல தன்னலமற்ற வாழ்க்கையை வாழ இந்த தவக்கால நாட்களில் நம் இதயங்களைத் தயார்படுத்துவோம்.

Jesus came on a mission to do His Father’s work. He wasn't looking for honor, rather to bring glory to His Father by completing His work. Let’s prepare our hearts during these Lenten days to live a selfless life like Jesus.

கடவுள் தரும் பெருமையை நாடாது, ஒருவர் மற்றவரிடமிருந்து பெருமை தேடிக்கொள்கிறீர்களே! உங்களால் எப்படி என்னை நம்ப இயலும்?. யோவான் 5: 44

How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God? -John 5: 44

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

மனித மகிமைக்கு முன்னுரிமை அளிப்பவர்களின் இதயங்கள் சத்தியத்திற்கும் கடவுளின் கிருபைக்கும் மூடப்பட்டுள்ளதால் அவர்களை நம்ப முடியாது என்று இயேசு குறிப்பிடுகிறார். நாம் கடவுளின் பெயரை மகிமைப்படுத்த நம் வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்கிறோமா அல்லது மனித துதியை நம்பியிருக்கிறோமா?

Jesus implies that those who prioritize human glory are incapable of believing in Him because their hearts are closed to the truth and God's grace. Are we living our lives to glorify God’s name or relying on human praise?

என் வார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு என்னை அனுப்பியவரை நம்புவோர் நிலைவாழ்வைக் கொண்டுள்ளனர். யோவான் 5: 24

Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes in him who sent me has eternal life -John 5: 24

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

இயேசு நம்மை அவருடைய வார்த்தைகளை நம்பி, அவரைப் போல வாழ்ந்து நித்திய ஜீவனைப் பெற அழைக்கிறார். நமது கடினமான காலங்களில் கூட அவரை நம்பவும், மனத்தாழ்மையையும் அன்பையும் அணிந்துகொண்டு அவரைப் போல வாழவும் நாம் முயற்சி செய்கிறோமா?

Jesus calls us to believe in His words and live like Him to gain eternal life. Are we making an effort to believe in Him even during our hardest times and live like Him by clothing ourselves with humility and love?

`நலம்பெற விரும்புகிறீரா?’' - யோவான் 5: 6

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…  

கிறிஸ்துவுடன் ஆன இந்த சந்திப்பு, ஒரு உடல்நலமற்று இருந்த மனிதனுக்குள் பெதஸ்தாவின் நீர் குமிழ்வது போல ஏதோ ஒன்றை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது. ஏதேனும் ஒரு துன்பம் உங்களை தாக்கும் போது நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவில் யார், உங்களுக்குள் கிறிஸ்து யார் என்பதை மறந்துவிட்டீர்களா?

This encounter with Christ causes something to bubble up within the lame man like the waters of Bethesda. Has a certain suffering become so much a part of who you are that you have forgotten who you are in Christ and who Christ is in you?
