மனதில் பதிக்க…

 

இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: இந்தச் சிறுபிள்ளையை என் நாமத்தினாலே ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறவன் என்னை அனுப்பினவரை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுகிறான்; உங்கள் எல்லோருக்குள்ளும் எவன் சிறியவனாக இருக்கிறானோ அவனே பெரியவனாக இருப்பான் என்றார். லூக் 9:48

Jesus said "Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me; for he who is least among you all is the one who is great.” Lk 9:48

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கடவுளுடைய ராஜ்யத்தில் உண்மையில் யார் பெரியவர் என்பதை தம் சீடர்களுக்குக் காண்பிப்பதற்காக இயேசு ஒரு குழந்தையை தனக்கு அருகில் வைத்து ஒரு வியத்தகு சைகை செய்தார். நாம் சிறியவர்களா அல்லது பெரியவர்களா?

Jesus made a dramatic gesture by placing a child next to himself to show his disciples who really is the greatest in the kingdom of God. Are we the least or the great?

அதற்கு இயேசு கூறியது: “தடுக்க வேண்டாம். ஏனெனில், என் பெயரால் வல்லசெயல் புரிபவர் அவ்வளவு எளிதாக என்னைக் குறித்து இகழ்ந்து பேச மாட்டார். மாற்கு 9:39

Jesus replied, “Do not prevent him. There is no one who performs a mighty deed in my name who can at the same time speak ill of me. Mark 9: 39 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நம்மை விட நன்றாக பிறர் செய்யும் நற்செயல்களைக் கண்டு மனம் வருந்திய சீடர்களைப் போல் அல்லவா நாம் இருக்கிறோம்? பவுல் கூறுகிறார், "அன்பு பொறாமை கொள்ளாது, சிந்திப்போம்.

Are we not like the disciples when we got upset at the good deeds of others who seem to shine more than us? Paul says that "love is not jealous”. Let us think.

அவர்கள் அவர் சொன்னதைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை. லூக்கா 9:43

But they did not understand this saying. Luke 9:43

விசுவாசம் கடவுளின் கொடை.விசுவாசம் இருந்தாலொழிய நம்மால் இறைவனின் திட்டத்தை, செயல்களை , சொற்களை புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியாது . நம் விசுவாசத்தை மிகுதி படுத்த இறைவனிடம் இறைஞ்சிவோமா  ? 

ஆண்டவரே, என் விசுவாசத்தை மிகுதி படுத்தியருளும். ஆமென்.

Faith is a gift from God. Without faith we cannot understand God's plan, words or actions. Shall we ask God to increase our faith? 

Lord, please increase my faith. Amen.

கடவுள் ஒவ்வொன்றையும் அதனதன் காலத்தில் செம்மையாகச் செய்கிறார். சபை உரையாளர் 3:11

He has made everything appropriate to its time - Ecclesiastes 3:11

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கடவுள் நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் ஒரு திட்டத்தை வைத்துள்ளார். காலம் வரும்போது அதை நமக்கு தருகின்றார். 

ஆண்டவரது திட்டத்தை அறிய அந்த காலத்திற்காக பொறுமையோடு காத்திருப்போமா?

God has a plan for each of us. When time comes, He reveals and executes His plans. 

Shall we await patiently for the revelation of God’s plan?

ஏரோது இயேசுவைக் காண வாய்ப்புத் தேடிக் கொண்டிருந்தான். (லூக்கா 9:9)

Herod kept trying to see him.- Luke 9:9

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நாம் இறைவனை எந்த மனநிலையில் தேடுகிறோம் என்று கொஞ்சம் ஆய்வு செய்துகொள்வோம். அவரிடமிருந்து வாழ்வு தரும் வார்த்தைகளையும், வாழ்வு தரும் திருவுணவையும் பெறத் தேடுகிறோமா? அல்லது வெறுமனே இவ்வுலக சொகுசுகளையும், பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியும், வெற்றியும் பெற மட்டுமே தேடுகிறோமா? 

நமது இறைத் தேடலைக் கொஞ்சம் தூய்மைப்படுத்திக்கொள்வோமா?

In what state of mind are we seeking God? Is it to receive His Grace through His words of preaching and The Eucharist in which He is really present or is it for worldly pleasures and economic success? 

Shall we analyze and tweak our thoughts in seeking God?

 மனதில் பதிக்க…

 

எனக்குச் செல்வம் வேண்டாம், வறுமையும் வேண்டாம்; எனக்குத் தேவையான உணவை மட்டும் தந்தருளும் - நீமொ 30:8

Give me neither poverty nor riches; provide me only with the food I need - Prv 30:8

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

விவிலிய நூலாகிய நீதிமொழிகள் கூறுவதுபோல, 'எனக்குச் செல்வம் வேண்டாம், வறுமையும் வேண்டாம்; எனக்குத் தேவையான உணவை மட்டும் தந்தருளும்' என நாம் மன நிறைவு கொண்டிருப்பதே உயர்ந்த அறிவு.

இறைவா, உலகம் வழங்குகின்ற செல்வத்தில் நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளாமல் உமது நிறைவிலிருந்து நாங்கள் நிறைவு பெற எங்களுக்கு அருள்தாரும்.

As proverb says, "Give me neither poverty nor riches; provide me only with the food I need", Shall we be contented with what God has given us? 

Lord, grant us not to rely on the riches that the world offers but to be filled with your fulfillment.

 இறைவார்த்தையைக் கேட்டு அதைக் கடைப்பிடிப்போர் இன்னும் அதிகம் பேறுபெற்றோர்.லூக் 11: 28

Blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it. Luke 11:28

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இயேசுவின் உறவினராக மாற மூன்று பயிற்சிகளை முயற்சிப்போமா? 

1. கற்க  - இறைவார்த்தையை  நாம் முழுமையாக வாசிக்க வேண்டும்.

2. கடைப்பிடிக்க  -இறைவார்த்தையை நன்கு வாசித்த நாம் அதை கடைப்பிடிக்க வேண்டும்.

3. கற்பிக்க  - நமக்கு நெருக்கமாக இருப்பவர்களை, திருவிவிலியத்தை வாசிக்க ஆர்வமுள்ளவர்களாகவும், மேலும் அவர்கள் வாசித்த இறைவார்த்தையை தியானிக்கவும் நாம் ஒரு ஊக்குவிப்பாளர்களாக செயல்பட வேண்டும்.

Shall we follow these three things to become a closer relative of Jesus? 

1. Learn - Read the Word of God to its entirety

2. Follow - Follow what we have read

3. Teach – Encourage others to read and reflect on the Word of God

 உள்ளவருக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படும்; இல்லாதவரிடமிருந்து தமக்கு உண்டென்று அவர் நினைப்பதும் எடுத்துக் கொள்ளப்படும். - லூக்கா 8:18

To anyone who has, more will be given, and from the one who has not, even what he seems to have will be taken away. - Luke 8:18

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கடவுள் உங்களுக்கு கொடுத்த விளக்கை ( திறமைகளை) சுடர்விட்டு எரிய வைத்துள்ளீர்களா? வைத்திருந்தால் "உள்ளவனுக்கு கொடுக்கப்படும்" . வைத்திராவிட்டால் "தனக்கு உண்டென்று அவன் நினைப்பதும் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளப்படும்". எரிய வைப்போமா?

Are we utilizing our God given talents (light) in a best way? If so, more will be given to us. If not, it will be taken away. Shall we make our God given talents shine?

 நீதிமான்கள் கடவுளின் மக்கள் என்றால், அவர் அவர்களுக்கு உதவி செய்வார்; - சாலமோனின் ஞானம் 2:18

For if the just one be the son of God, God will defend him - Wisdom 2:18

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இந்த உலகில் நேர்மையாளர்களாக வாழ்வது கடினமானது என்றாலும், அப்படிப்பட்ட வாழ்வு வாழ தான் நாம் அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறோம் . எவ்வளவு சோர்வுகள், தளர்ச்சிகள் வந்தாலும், நாம் கொண்டிருக்கின்ற நம்முடைய விழுமியங்களில் உறுதி  உள்ளவர்களாக நேர்மையாக வாழ  முயல்வோமா? 

Although it is difficult to live a honest life in this world, we are always called to live such a life. Shall we try to live a honest life amidst the challenges that we face every day?

 மனதில் பதிக்க…

 

 இயேசு அவரிடம், “என்னைப் பின்பற்றி வா” என்றார்  (மத்தேயு 9:9)

 And Jesus said to him, 'Follow me.' (Matthew 9:9)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

பெரியவர் சிறியவர், உயர்ந்தவர் தாழ்ந்தவர், ஏழை பணக்காரர், படித்தவர் படிக்காதவர் என்று எந்த வேறுபாடும் பார்க்காமல் இயேசு அனைவருக்குமே அழைப்பு விடுக்கிறார்.

கிறிஸ்துவர்களாய் பிறந்த நாம் அனைவருமே கடவுளின் அழைப்பை பெற்றிருக்கிறோம். அவரின் வார்த்தையை கேட்டு அதன்படி நம் வாழ்க்கையை சீர் படுத்தி அவருக்கு உகந்த வாழ்க்கையை வாழ நாம் தயாராக உள்ளோமா? சிந்திப்போம்

Irrespective of being older or younger, greater or smaller, rich or poor, literate or uneducated, Jesus calls us to follow him.

Everyone of us born as Christians have been called to know about him. Are we ready to listen to the word of God and mend our life accordingly to lead a life pleasing God??

 மனதில் பதிக்க…

 

“பல பெண்களும் அவரோடு இருந்தார்கள். இவர்கள் தங்கள் உடைமைகளைக் கொண்டு அவருக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்து வந்தார்கள்.” (லூக்கா 8:3)

“and many other women, who provided for them out of their resources.” (Luke 8:3)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

பல நவீன வளர்ச்சிகளை கொண்ட இந்த 21ஆம் நூற்றாண்டிலும், பெண்களுக்கு சம உரிமை அளிக்க தயங்கும் சமூகத்தில் நாம் வாழ்கிறோம்.. ஆனால் 2000ஆம் ஆண்டுகள் முன்னரே இயேசு பெண்களை அவர் இறை பணியில் இணைத்துக்கொண்டார்.. அதிலும் முக்கியமாக பெண்கள் தங்கள் உடைமைகளை பகிர்ந்துகொண்டு இயேசுவிற்கு பணிவிடை செய்தனர்

கடவளின் பணியில் இணைந்து அவரின் வார்த்தையை பறைசாற்றுவதை ஒவ்வொருவரின் கடமையாக கொடுத்துள்ளார். நமது செல்வத்தை பகிர்ந்து அவரின் பணியை தொடர நாம் தயாரக உள்ளோமா ?? சிந்திப்போம்

Even in this 21st century where our society finds it difficult to accept women as equal gender , we see Jesus including women also in his mission and more importantly those women sharing their belongings for serving God..

God gave everyone of us the duty to get involved in his mission and spread the word of God.. Are we ready to use our wealth for his mission??

 மனதில் பதிக்க…

 

“நீர்  செய்த பல பாவங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்பட்டன. ஏனெனில் இவர் மிகுதியாக அன்பு கூர்ந்தார். குறைவாக மன்னிப்புப் பெறுவோர் குறைவாக அன்பு செலுத்துவோர் ஆவர்” (லூக்கா 7:47)

“For this reason I tell you that her sins, many as they are, have been forgiven her, because she has shown such great love. It is someone who is forgiven little who shows little love.” (Luke 7:47)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கத்தோலிக்க கிறிஸ்துவர்களாகிய நமக்கு கொடுக்கப் பட்டுள்ள இரு பெறும் கொடைகள் 1. நற்கருணை 2. பாவ மன்னிப்பு.. இயேசு நீதிமான்களை அல்ல பாவிகளையே மீட்க இவ்வுலகிற்கு வந்தார். ஆனால் நாம் பல நேரங்களில் இந்த பாவமன்னிப்பு என்னும் அருட்கொடையை பயன்படுத்த மறக்கிரோம்/மறுக்கிறோம்

பாவத்தில் விழுவது மனித இயல்பு. ஆனால் இயேசு நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்பது மனமாற்றத்தை. பாவிகளான நம்மை மீட்க இயேசு தயாராக உள்ளார்.  நாம் அவரின் அன்பை பெற்று மனம் மாற தயாராக உள்ளோமா?? சிந்திப்போம்

We Catholics have been given two great gifts 1. Holy Eucharist 2. Holy Confession. Jesus came to rescue the sinners and not the upright ones. But we Catholics many times fail to & forget to utilize this gift of confession.

It is common for us humans to fall in sin, but what God expects from us is repentance. God is ready to redeem us from our sins, but are we ready to change our ways and return to him??

"எனினும் ஞானம் மெய்யானது என்பதற்கு அதை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டோரின் செயல்களே சான்று” (லூக்கா 7:35)

"Yet wisdom is justified by all her children.' (Luke 7:35)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கிறிஸ்துவர்களாகிய நம் அனைவருக்கும் உறுதி பூசுதல் வழியாக தூய ஆவியின் கொடையான ஞானம் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.. அந்த ஞானம் தான் நம்மை பிற மதத்தினர் நின்று  வேறு படுத்தி காட்டுகின்றது

அந்த ஞானத்தை கொண்டு நாம் பிறரை தீர்ப்பிட போகின்றோமா அல்லது எந்த அடையாளமும் எதிர்பாராமல் மெய்யான கடவுளாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ள போகின்றோமா?? சிந்திப்போம்

We Christians have received the gift of the Holy spirit - Wisdom during the sacrament of confirmation. That wisdom differentiates us from the people of other religion.

But are we going to use that wisdom to judge others or use the wisdom to accept Jesus as our true God without any signs or expectations?

“நம்மிடையே பெரிய இறைவாக்கினர் ஒருவர் தோன்றியிருக்கிறார். கடவுள் தம் மக்களைத் தேடி வந்திருக்கிறார்."  (லூக்கா 7:16)

"A great prophet has risen up among us; God has visited his people.' (Luke 7:16)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

இன்றைய கிறிஸ்துவர்கள்களாகிய நம்மை போலவே அந்த மக்களும் இயேசுவை மெசியா என்று அடையாளம் கண்டுக் கொண்டனர்.. ஆனால் பாவத்தை விட்டு ஒளிக்கு வர தயங்கினர் & அச்சம் கொண்டனர். கடவுளால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட மக்களாக இருந்தப்பின்னரும் நாமும் நமது பாவங்களுக்கு அடிமையாகி அதிலிருந்து மீண்டு கடவுளிடம் வர மறுக்கிறோம்.

ஆனால் நமது அன்பான தேவன் நம்மை பாவத்திலிருந்து மீட்க ஆவலாக காத்திருக்கிறார். அவரின் குரலுக்கு செவிசாய்க்க தயாராகவுள்ளோமா? சிந்திப்போம்

Just like us Christians, those people also identified Jesus as the Messiah.. but they were afraid and reluctant to leave their sins and come into light.. And we are no different from our ancestors. Though being the chosen ones of God, we get so comfortable with the sins that we find it difficult/reluctant to move towards God leaving the sins

But our lord God loves us so much and he's always ready to rescue us from our sins.. Are we ready to answer his call and get salvation??

“நீர் என் வீட்டிற்குள் அடியெடுத்து வைக்க நான் தகுதியற்றவன். உம்மிடம் வரவும் என்னைத் தகுதியுள்ளவனாக நான் கருதவில்லை. ஆனால் ஒரு வார்த்தை சொல்லும்; என் ஊழியர் நலமடைவார்." (லூக்கா 7:6,7)

"Sir, do not put yourself to any trouble because I am not worthy to have you under my roof; and that is why I did not presume to come to you myself; let my boy be cured by your giving the word." (Luke 7:6,7)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

நாம் பாவ வாழ்க்கையை வாழும்போதிலும் கிறிஸ்துவற்களாக பிறந்ததினாலேயே பிற மதத்தினரை விட நம்மையே உயர்ந்தவற்களாய் கருதி வாழ்கிறோம். கடவுளிடம் செபிக்கும் போதிலும் மன்றாடும் போதுக்கூட நாம் பாவ வாழ்க்கைக்காக வெட்கப்படுவதுமில்லை தாழ்த்திக்கொள்வதுமில்லை. நமது வெற்றி நேரங்களில்க்கூட  நமது உழைப்பின் கனியாக கருதுகிறோமே தவிர, கடவுளின் மகிமையை மறக்கிறோம்

கிறிஸ்துவின் பிள்ளைகளாகிய நாமும் கடவுளின் மீது நம்பிக்கைக்கொண்டு அவரின் திட்டத்தை ஏற்று வாழும் மனதிற்காக இறைவனிடம்  மன்றாடுவோமா

Though leading a sinful life, just coz of being born as Christians, we consider ourselves greater than people from other religions.

Even while praying to God with some petitions, we don't humble ourselves or feel ashamed for our sins.. And during success, we credit it for our hard work and fail to give glory to God. We being the chosen ones of God, can we put our faith in him and accept his plan for us?

மனதில் பதிக்க…

 

“என்னைப் பின்பற்ற விரும்பும் எவரும் தன்னலம் துறந்து, தம் சிலுவையைத் தூக்கிக்கொண்டு என்னைப் பின்பற்றட்டும்." (மாற்கு 8: 34)    "If anyone wants to be a follower of mine, let him renounce himself and take up his cross and follow me" (Mark 8:34)

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

கிறிஸ்துவர்கள் ஆகிய நாம் அனைவருமே இயேசுவை பற்றி அறிந்துகொண்டு அவரை பின்பற்றவே அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிரோம். ஆனால் அது எளிதாக இருக்காது; அதற்காக நாம் பல்வேறு சவால்களையும் துன்பங்களையும் சந்திக்கவேண்டும் என்று இயேசு நமக்கு அறிவுறுத்துகிறார்.

இயேசு கிறிஸ்து உலக அரசராய் இருந்தும் நம்மை மீட்பதற்காக கல்வாரி பாதையில் பல துன்பங்களை தாங்கி சிலுவை சாவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்.. அவரை பின்பற்ற அழைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும் நாமும் உலக காரியங்களுக்காக சுயநலமாய் வாழாமல், இயேசுவோடு இணைந்து சிலுவையை சுமக்க தயாராக உள்ளோமா? சிந்திப்போம்

We Christians have been called to know about Jesus and follow his preaching.. But Jesus makes it clear that it won't be an easy task and we need to face many challenges and do sacrifices in life.. Jesus Christ, though the ruler of the entire world, chose to undergo the sufferings at Mount Calvary and accepted the painful death to redeem us from our sins.. So we the followers of Christ , are we ready to stop leading a selfish life for the worldly comforts, rather unite with God and carry our daily crosses let it be anything (pains,sorrows, rejection, disappointment, failures etc) In such times let we christians like our role model Jesus seek his protection and providence to fight against them and receive his blessings.

தம் ஒரே மகன்மீது நம்பிக்கை கொள்ளும் எவரும் அழியாமல் நிலைவாழ்வு பெறும் பொருட்டு அந்த மகனையே அளிக்கும் அளவுக்குக் கடவுள் உலகின் மேல் அன்பு கூர்ந்தார்.

யோவான் 3:16.

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. John 3:16

மனதில் சிந்திக்க ...

மோசே காலந்தொட்டு இயேசுவின் காலம்வரைக்கும் இறைவன் மக்களை பல வழிகளில் அன்பு கூர்ந்தார். இறுதியில் தம்முடைய ஒரே மகனை சிலுவைப்பலியாக ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தது உலக மக்களை அழியாத நிலைவாழ்வுக்கு கொண்டு செல்லவே எனவே நாமும் இறைவனின் இவ் அன்பை ஏற்று நிலை வாழ்வுக்குச் செல்ல ஆயத்தமா ?என்று சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்...

From the time of Moses to the time of Jesus, God loved his people in many ways. At the end, He sacrificed His only son for the salvation of the people He loved. Shall we prepare ourselves to receive His love and mercy and be prepared for our eternal life?

நான் யாருக்கும் அடிமையாய் இல்லாதிருந்தும் பலரைக் கிறிஸ்துவிடம் கொண்டுவர என்னை எல்லாருக்கும் அடிமையாக்கிக் கொண்டேன்.

1 கொரிந்தியர் 9:19

Although I am free in regard to all, I have made myself a slave to all so as to win over as many as possible.1 Corinthians 9:19

மனதில் சிந்திக்க ...

திருமுழுக்குப்பெற்ற ஒவ்வொரு கிறிஸ்தவனுக்கும் இருக்கின்ற இன்னொரு முக்கியமான கடமை நம்  வாழும் சூழலில் நம் இயேசு  ஆண்டவரை அறியாத ஆன்மாக்களை அல்லது தவறான வழியில் செல்கின்ற ஆன்மாக்களை மீட்டெடுப்பதாகும் அதற்காக நம்மை முற்றிலும் தாழ்த்திக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்பதை புனித பவுல் நமக்கு வாழ்ந்து காட்டியிருக்கின்றார் எனவே இயேசுவின் பாதையை அறியாதவர்களுக்கும் காண்பிப்பதற்காக நம்மை தாழ்த்திக்கொள்வோமா சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்.

Saint Paul has shown us that another important duty of every baptized Christian is to restore souls who do not know our Lord Jesus or souls who are going the wrong way in our living environment. Shall we be a living example for others?

Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful Lk 6:36.

உங்கள் தந்தை இரக்கமுள்ளவராக இருக்கிறதுபோல, நீங்களும் இரக்கமுள்ளவர்களாக இருங்கள் லூக் 6:36.

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

what makes us distinct from others? It is grace - treating others, not as they deserve, but as God wishes them to be treated - with loving-kindness and mercy. 

நம்மை மற்றவங்களிலிருந்து வேறுபடுத்துவது எது? அது கருணை - மற்றவர்களை அவர்களுக்குத் தகுதியான முறையில் நடத்தாமல், கடவுள் விரும்புவதைப் போல - அன்பான இரக்கத்துடனும் கருணையுடனும் நடத்தப்படுதல்.

Raising his eyes toward his disciples Jesus said:

“Blessed are you who are poor, for the Kingdom of God is yours.” Luke 6:20

இயேசு சீடர்மீது தம் பார்வையைப் பதித்துக் கூறியவை: “ஏழைகளே, நீங்கள் பேறுபெற்றோர்; ஏனெனில் இறையாட்சி உங்களுக்கு உரியதே.”

லூக்கா 6:20.

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

Here Jesus refers to the poor as eligible for the Kingdom of God, who are not economically disadvantaged, on the contrary, who are freed from all internal desires. As we are called to God’s Kingdom by baptism, let us free ourselves from all attachments of the world and qualify ourselves for selection to the Kingdom of God.  Let’s think and act.

இங்கே ஏழைகள் இறையாட்சிக்கு தகுதியுடையவர்கள் என்று இயேசு குறிப்பிடுவது பொருளாதார குறையுள்ளவர்களை அல்ல, மாறாக, உள்ளத்தினால் எல்லாவற்றிலுமிருந்தும் வெறுமையாகி விடுதலையானவர்களையே. திருமுழுக்கின் மூலம் இறையாட்சிக்கு அழைக்கப்பட்ட நாம் உலகின் எல்லாவிதமான பற்றுதல்களிலுமிருந்தும் விடுதலையாகி இறையாட்சிக்கு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படுவதற்கு நம்மையே தகுதியுடையவர்களாக்குவோமா? சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்.

 மனதில் பதிக்க….

Do you not know that the unjust will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators nor idolaters nor adulterers nor boy prostitutes nor sodomites nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor robbers will inherit the Kingdom of God.1 Corinthians 6:9-10

தீங்கிழைப்போருக்கு இறையாட்சியில் உரிமையில்லை என்று உங்களுக்குத் தெரியாதா? ஏமாந்து போகாதீர்கள்; பரத்தைமையில் ஈடுபடுவோர், சிலைகளை வழிபடுவோர், விபசாரம் செய்வோர், தகாத பாலுறவு கொள்வோர், ஒருபால் புணர்ச்சியில் ஈடுபடுவோர், திருடர், பேராசையுடையோர், குடிவெறியர், பழிதூற்றுவோர், கொள்ளை அடிப்போர் ஆகியோர் இறையாட்சியை உரிமையாக்கிக் கொள்வதில்லை.1 கொரிந்தியர் 6:9-10.

 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

Our Lord has chosen us from the world and called us into the Church to take us into his kingdom. Let us think and act by avoiding all sinful temptations and evils to make us worthy to enter the Kingdom of God.

இறையாட்சிக்குள் நம்மை அழைத்துச் செல்வதற்காகவே நம் ஆண்டவர் நம்மை உலகமக்களில் தேர்ந்தெடுத்து திருச்சபைக்குள் அழைத்திருக்கின்றார் இறையாட்சிக்குள் செல்ல நம்மை தகுதியுள்ளவர்களாக்கிக் கொள்ள எல்லா பாவ தூண்டுதல்களையும் தீமைகளையும் தவிர்த்து வாழ முயற்சிப்போமா? சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்.

மனதில் பதிக்க….

Therefore, let us celebrate the feast, not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:8

ஆகையால் பழைய புளிப்பு மாவைத் தவிர்க்க வேண்டும். தீமை, பரத்தைமை போன்ற புளிப்பு மாவோடு அல்ல, மாறாக நேர்மை, உண்மை போன்ற புளிப்பற்ற அப்பத்தோடு பாஸ்காவைக் கொண்டாடுவோமாக.

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

When we are absolved from our sins, we are washed by the blood of Jesus Christ and become an unleavened new flour. Like a little leaven that leavens the whole new dough, we shall not let a sin defile our whole heart and shall walk with our Lord Jesus Christ very carefully? Let's think and act.

நாம் பாவமன்னிப்பு பெறும் போது இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் திரு இரத்தத்தினால் கழுவப்பட்டு புளிப்பற்ற புதிய மாவாக மாறுகின்றோம். சிறிதளவு புளிப்பு மாவு புதிய மாவு முழுவதையும் புளிப்பாக்குவது போல சிறிய பாவம் கூட நமது முழு உள்ளத்தையும் அழுக்காக்க விடாமல் மிகவும் கவனமாய் இயேசு ஆண்டவரோடு பயணிப்போமா? சிந்திபோம் செயல்படுவோம்.

 மனதில் பதிக்க….

He took him off by himself away from the crowd. He put his finger into the man’s ears and, spitting, touched his tongue; then he looked up to heaven and groaned, and said to him, “Ephphatha!”— that is, “Be opened!” — Mark 7:33-34

இயேசு அவரைக் கூட்டத்திலிருந்து தனியே அழைத்துச் சென்று, தம் விரல்களை அவர் காதுகளில் இட்டு உமிழ் நீரால் அவர் நாவைத் தொட்டார். பிறகு வானத்தை அண்ணாந்து பார்த்து பெருமூச்சு விட்டு அவரை நோக்கி ‘எப்பத்தா’ அதாவது ‘திறக்கப்படு’ என்றார்.  மாற்கு 7:33-34

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…..

In today's reading, we read that our Lord Jesus is a healer, who not only opens ears but opens a life to the humble. Shall we also seek only Jesus and try to unlock our good thoughts and generous qualities by the words of Jesus, that were locked by our sin? Let us think and act.

 

நம் இயேசு ஆண்டவர் ஒரு குணப்படுத்துபவராகவும், காதுகளை மட்டுமல்ல எளியவருக்கு ஒரு வாழ்க்கையை திறந்து அவருக்கு விடுதலையளித்தவராகவும் இன்றைய வாசகத்தில் வாசிக்கின்றோம். நாமும் இயேசுவை மட்டுமே நாடி நம் பாவத்தினால் பூட்டப்பட்டு கிடக்கின்ற நமது நல்ல எண்ணங்களையும் தாராள குணத்தையும் ‘எப்பத்தா’ என்ற இயேசுவின் வார்த்தையினால் முற்றிலும் திறப்பதற்கு முயற்சிப்போமா? சிந்திப்போம் செயல்படுவோம்.

Then Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is lord of the sabbath.” Luke 6:5 

மேலும் இயேசு அவர்களிடம், “ஓய்வு நாளும் மானிட மகனுக்குக் கட்டுப்பட்டதே” என்றார். லூக்கா 6:5

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

Shall we step back to reexamine ourselves, recall saying anything profane against the people in our church, regret for it, repent and reconcile with God to experience the Holy Spirit? Let us think about it. 

நம்மை நாமே மறுபரிசீலனை செய்து, நம் திருச்சபையில் உள்ளவர்களுக்கு எதிராக அவதூறாக பேசியவற்றை நினைவுகூர்ந்து, அதற்காக மனம் வருந்தி, மன்னிப்பு பெற்று, கடவுளோடு ஒன்றிணைவதன் மூலம் தூய ஆவியானவரை அனுபவிப்போமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

And Jesus also told them a parable. “No one tears a piece from a new cloak to patch an old one.Otherwise, he will tear the new and the piece from it will not match the old cloak.” Luke 5: 36

இயேசு அவர்களுக்கு ஓர் உவமையையும் கூறினார்: “எவரும் புதிய ஆடையிலிருந்து ஒரு துண்டைக் கிழித்து அதைப் பழைய ஆடையோடு ஒட்டுப் போடுவதில்லை. அவ்வாறு ஒட்டுப் போட்டால் புதிய ஆடையும் கிழியும்; புதிய துண்டும் பழையதோடு பொருந்தாது.” லூக்கா 5:36

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

Shall we let the old self of judging others go away and rejuvenate our spiritual life and become new creations with the help of the Holy Spirit. Let's think.

பிறரை தீர்ப்பிடும் பழைய வாழ்வை விட்டு விலகி, நமது ஆன்மீக வாழ்க்கையை புதுப்பித்து, பரிசுத்த ஆவியின் உதவியால் புதிய படைப்புகளாக மாறுவோமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

When Simon Peter saw this, he fell at the knees of Jesus and said, "Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man." Jesus said to Simon, "Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men." Luke 5 : 8,10b

இதைக் கண்ட சீமோன் பேதுரு, இயேசுவின் கால்களில் விழுந்து, “ஆண்டவரே, நான் பாவி, நீர் என்னை விட்டுப் போய்விடும்” என்றார். இயேசு சீமோனை நோக்கி, “அஞ்சாதே; இது முதல் நீ மனிதரைப் பிடிப்பவன் ஆவாய்” என்று சொன்னார். லூக்கா 5 : 8,10b

 

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

No matter who we are, when we admit our sins and surrender ourselves to God, he will remove our sins far from us as the east is from the west and give us strength with the power of Holy Spirit to defeat our weaknesses and to complete our mission as a Christian. Shall we confess?

நாம் யாராக இருந்தாலும், நம்முடைய பாவங்களை ஒப்புக்கொண்டு, கடவுளிடம் சரணடையும் போது,  கிழக்கிலிருந்து மேற்கு எவ்வளவு தூரமோ அவ்வளவு தூரம் நம் பாவங்களை நம்மிடமிருந்து விலக்கி, தூய ஆவியின் வல்லமையால் நமது பலவீனங்களை வெல்லவும், கிறிஸ்தவர்களான நமது இறைப்பணியை நிறைவேற்றவும் தேவையான வலிமையைக் கொடுப்பார். நல்ல பாவ சங்கீர்த்தனம் செய்வோமா?

Jesus stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up immediately and waited on them. Luke 4:39

இயேசு அவரருகில் நின்று, காய்ச்சலைக் கடிந்துகொள்ள, அதுஅவரை விட்டு நீங்கிற்று. உடனே அவர் எழுந்து அவர்களுக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்தார். லூக்கா 4:39

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

With blessings from our Lord Jesus Christ and moved by the Holy Spirit, shall we begin our vocation to serve the needy? Let’s think.

நம் ஆண்டவர் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் ஆசீருடன், தூய ஆவியானவரால் தூண்டப்பட்டு, பிறருக்கு உதவ அழைக்கப்பட்ட நாம், உதவி அவசியம் தேவைப்படுவோருக்கு உதவ முன் வருவோமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

They were all amazed and said to one another, "What is there about his word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out." Luke 4:36

எல்லாரும் திகைப்படைந்து, “எப்படிப் பேசுகிறார், பாருங்கள்! அதிகாரத் தோடும் வல்லமையோடும் தீய ஆவிகளுக்குக் கட்டளையிடுகிறார்; அவையும் போய்விடுகின்றனவே!” என்று ஒருவரோடு ஒருவர் பேசிக் கொண்டனர். லூக்கா 4:36

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

  Shall we pray to the Holy Spirit to take authority over us, remove the doubts from our hearts, give wisdom, and bring peace in our life? Think about it.

தூய ஆவியானவர் நம்மை ஆட்கொண்டு, நமது மனதில் உள்ள சந்தேகங்களை நீக்கி, ஞானத்தைத் தந்து, நம் வாழ்வில் அமைதியைக் கொண்டுவர ஜெபிப்போமா? சிந்திப்போம்.

He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19

அவர் அதைப் பிரித்தபோது கண்ட பகுதியில் இவ்வாறுஎழுதியிருந்தது:

“ஆண்டவருடைய ஆவி என்மேல் உளது; ஏனெனில், அவர் எனக்கு அருள்பொழிவு செய்துள்ளார். ஏழைகளுக்கு நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கவும் சிறைப்பட்டோர் விடுதலை அடைவர், பார்வையற்றோர் பார்வை பெறுவர் என முழக்கமிடவும் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டோரை விடுதலை செய்து அனுப்பவும் ஆண்டவர் அருள்தரும் ஆண்டினை முழக்கமிட்டு அறிவிக்கவும் அவர் என்னை அனுப்பியுள்ளார்.” லூக்கா 4:18-19.

மனதில் சிந்திக்க….

Jesus moved his townspeople out of indifference with his love and mercy. Let us pray for the promptness of Holy Spirit to be a living witness of Jesus. Inspired by our life, those who separated themselves from our Church out of indifference to God will return.

இயேசு தம்முடைய அன்பினாலும் இரக்கத்தினாலும் தம்மை அலட்சியப்படுத்திய ஊர் மக்களை மனம் மாற்றினார். தூய ஆவியானவரின் தூண்டுதலால் இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் உயிருள்ள சாட்சியாக வாழ வரம் வேண்டி ஜெபிப்போம். நம் வாழ்வின் முறையால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு, கடவுளைப் பற்றி முழுமையாய் அறியாமல் நம் திருச்சபையை விட்டுப் பிரிந்து போனவர்கள் மீண்டும்  திரும்ப வருவர்.

He summoned the crowd again and said to them, "Hear me, all of you, and understand. Nothing that enters one from outside can defile that person; but the things that come out from within are what defile. Mark 7:21

இயேசு மக்கள் கூட்டத்தை மீண்டும் தம்மிடம் வரவழைத்து, அவர்களை நோக்கி, “நான் சொல்வதை அனைவரும் கேட்டுப்புரிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள். வெளியேயிருந்து மனிதருக்குள்ளே சென்று அவர்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தக் கூடியது ஒன்றுமில்லை. மனிதருக்கு உள்ளேயிருந்து வெளியே வருபவையேஅவர்களைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தும்.” மாற்கு 7:21

மனதில் சிந்திக்க…

Rather than just being a talker, we shall pray to the holy spirit to help us become a doer and live out God’s word.

கடவுளுடைய வார்த்தைகளைப் பேசுபவர்களாக மட்டும் இல்லாமல், நம் வாழ்வில் இறை வார்த்தைகளை செயல்படுத்தும் செயல்வீரர்களாக வாழ உதவும்படி தூய ஆவியானவரிடம் வேண்டுவோம்.
