மனதில் பதிக்க...

இயேசு அவரிடம், ‘‘நானும் தீர்ப்பு அளிக்கவில்லை. - யோவான் 8:11

Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” - John 8:11

மனதில் சிந்திக்க...

நமது வாழ்க்கையில் வெளிப்படையாகவோ மறைமுகமாகவோ மற்றவரைத் தீர்ப்பிட்டுக் கொண்டே தான் இருக்கின்றோம். எதற்காக என்றால் நமது சுயநலத்திற்காக. இறைவனை மையப்படுத்தி தீர்ப்பிடும் தன்மையை குறைத்துக்கொள்வோமா?

In our lives, whether openly or subtly, we are constantly passing judgment on others—and we do so for the sake of our own self-interest. Shall we, then, strive to diminish this tendency to judge by centering our lives on God?

 மனதில் பதிக்க...

உயிர்த்தெழுதலும் வாழ்வும் நானே. என்னிடம் நம்பிக்கை கொள்பவர் இறப்பினும் வாழ்வார். - யோவான் 11:25

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live - John 11: 25

மனதில் சிந்திக்க...

நமக்கு இன்னுமொறு வாழ்க்கை உண்டு. அதுவே மரணத்தின் பின் வருகின்ற நித்தியமான உயிர்த்தெழுதலின் வாழ்வு என்பதை திட்டவட்டமாக வெளிப்படுத்திய நம் ஒரே ஆண்டவராகிய இயேசுவை முழுமையாக நம்பி நாமும் நம்மை நித்திய வாழ்வுக்கு ஆயத்தப்படுத்திக்கொள்வோமா...?

We have yet another life—the eternal life of resurrection that follows death. Shall we, then, place our complete trust in our one and only Lord, Jesus—who unequivocally revealed this truth—and prepare ourselves for eternal life?

“ஆண்டவர் எனக்கு வெளிப்படுத்தினார்; நானும் புரிந்து கொண்டேன்” - எரேமியா 11:19 

I knew it because the LORD informed me: at that time, you showed me their doings. - Jeremiah 11: 19

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

நாம் அன்றாடம் செபித்தாலும் கடவுளுடைய வல்லமையும் இரக்கமும் இல்லையெனில் நாம் அவருடைய திட்டத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ள முடியாது. இந்த தவக்காலத்தில் செபம் வழியாக அவரோடு கொண்டுள்ள உறவை புதுப்பித்து அவருடைய ஆசீரை நிறைவாக பெற முயல்வோமா? 

Even if we pray to God every day, without God’s power and mercy, we will not be able to understand His plan. In this Lenten season, shall we renew our relationship with Him through prayer and strive to receive His blessings abundantly?

“இறைப்பற்று இல்லாதவர்கள் அவர்களின் தீயொழுக்கமே அவர்களைப் பார்வையற்றோர் ஆக்கிவிட்டது. அவர்கள் கடவுளின் மறைவான திட்டங்களை அறிய வில்லை” - சாலமோனின் ஞானம் 2:21,22

“This is the way they reason, but they are misled, since their malice makes them blind. They do not know the hidden things of God, they do not hope for the reward of holiness”- Wisdom 2:21,22

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கிறிஸ்தவர்களாக இருந்தாலும், கடவுளின் மீது பற்று இல்லாமல் வாழ்ந்தால், அவருடைய ஆசீர்வாதங்களை நாம் பெற முடியாது. இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவின் மீது முழு நம்பிக்கை வளர்த்துக்கொண்டு அவருடைய திட்டத்தில் நம்மை இணைத்துக்கொண்டு அவரின் பிள்ளைகளாய் வாழ முயல்வோமா? சிந்திப்போம்? 

Even though we are Christians, if we live without the true devotion to God, we cannot receive His blessings. Can we try to build complete faith in Jesus Christ and accept His plan in our lives and strive to live as His children?

“யோசேப்பு தூக்கத்திலிருந்து விழித்தெழுந்து ஆண்டவரின் தூதர் தமக்குப் பணித்தவாறே தம் மனைவியை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டார்” - மத்தேயு 1:16

“When Joseph woke up he did what the angel of the Lord had told him to do: he took his wife to his home”- Matt 1:16

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

புனித யோசேப்பு அமைதியான விசுவாசத்திற்கு சிறந்த முன்னுதாரணம். அவர் அதிகமாக பேசாமல் தனது செயல்களால் கடவுளுடைய சித்தத்தை முழுமையாக நிறைவேற்றினார் . கடினமான சூழ்நிலைகளிலும் அன்னை மரியாளையும் குழந்தை இயேசுவையும் பாதுகாத்து  குடும்பங்களின் பாதுகாவலராக அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்.  அவரை போல, அமைதியாகவும், தாழ்சியாகவும் நடந்து முழு நம்பிக்கையோடு கடவுளின் திட்டத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு வாழ முயல்வோமா?  சிந்திப்போம்? 

St Joseph is a wonderful example of quiet faith. He did not speak much but fulfilled the will of God completely through his actions. Even in difficult situations, He protected Mother Mary & child Jesus, and so rightfully called the guardian of families. Can we also like St. Joseph strive to live our life with humility and accept God’s plan with complete trust?

“நல்லன செய்தோர் வாழ்வு பெற உயிர்த்தெழுவர்; தீயன செய்தோர் தண்டனைத் தீர்ப்புப் பெற உயிர்த்தெழுவர்” - யோவான் 5:29

“Those who have done good deeds to the resurrection of life. but those who have done wicked deeds to the resurrection of condemnation.”- John 5:29

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கடவுளின் சிறந்த படைப்பான மனிதனை அளவுக்கு அதிகமாக அன்பு செலுத்தியதால், நன்மை தீமை என தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் அதிகாரத்தை அளித்துள்ளார். கடவுளின் வார்த்தையின் படி நடந்து அவர் வாக்களித்துள்ள நிறைவாழ்வை உறுதியாக்கி கொள்ள முயல்வோமா? சிந்திப்போம்? 

Because God loved us human beings His finest creation immeasurably, He has given us the authority to choose between good and evil. Shall we strive to follow God’s word and secure the fulfilled life He has promised?

“இதோ பாரும், நீர் நலமடைந்துள்ளீர்; இதைவிடக் கேடானது எதுவும் உமக்கு நிகழாதிருக்க இனிப் பாவம் செய்யாதீர்” - யோவான் 5:11

“Look, you are well; do not sin any more, so that nothing worse may happen to you.”- John 4:48

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கடவுள் நம்மை எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் பாவ சேற்றின்நின்று தூக்கி விட தயாராகவுள்ளார். ஆனால் அவர் நம்மிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்பது எல்லாம் மறுபடியும் பாவ வழியில் செல்லாமல் இயேசுவின் பாதையில் நடப்பது மட்டுமே. இயேசுவின் கருணையை பெற தயாராக உள்ளோமா சிந்திப்போம்? 

God is always ready to retrieve us from our sinful life. But all that He expects from us is that we don't fall into the same sinful life again. Are we ready to get the mercy of God and follow the path of Jesus?

“அடையாளங்களையும் அருஞ்செயல்களையும் கண்டாலன்றி நீங்கள் நம்பவே மாட்டீர்கள்” - யோவான் 4:48

“Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe.”- John 4:48

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கடவுள் நமது வேண்டுதல்களை என்றுமே நிறைவேற்றுவார் என்றும், நமது வாழ்க்கையில் எப்போதும் மகிழ்ச்சியால் மட்டுமே நிரப்புவார் என்றும் எதிர்பார்ப்போடு வாழ்கிறோம். ஆனால் கடினமான அல்லது சவாலான சூழ்நிலைகளை எதிர்கொள்ளும்போது, கடவுள் மீது வைத்துள்ள நம்பிக்கை சோதனைக்கு உட்பட்டுத்த படுகிறது. இன்பம் துன்பம் எதுவாக இருந்தாலும் அது கடவுளுடைய சித்தம் என்று ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, எல்லா நேரங்களிலும் கடவுள் மேல் நம்பிக்கையை வளர்த்து, அவருடைய திட்டத்தின் படி வாழ்க்கையை நடத்த முயல்வோமா ?  சிந்திப்போம்?

We always tend to get our petitions answered by God and expect God to fill our life with only happiness all the time. And when we come across difficult or challenging situations, our faith on God gets into a toss. Can we try to accept that both good & bad are the will of God and build our faith on God no matter what and lead a life united with God?

 “இவர் செய்த பாவமும் அல்ல; இவர் பெற்றோர் செய்த பாவமும் அல்ல; கடவுளின் செயல் இவர் வழியாக வெளிப்படும் பொருட்டே இப்படிப் பிறந்தார்.” - யோவான் 9:3

Jesus answered, “Neither he nor his parents sinned; it is so that the works of God might be made visible through him. - John 9:3

 மனதில் சிந்திக்க

கடவுளின் வார்தையை கேட்டு அவரின் பிள்ளைகளாய் வாழ்ந்தால் நமது வாழ்க்கையில் எத்துன்பமும் வராது என்று தவறான எண்ணத்தில் பல நேரங்களில் வாழ்கிறோம். கடவுள் நம் ஒவ்வொருவருக்கும் தம் திட்டத்தின் படி தரும் சோதனைகளால் துவண்டு விடாமல் , அவர் துணை கொண்டு அதை ஏற்று வாழ முயல்வோமா? சிந்திப்போம்?

We often live under the misconception that if we heed God's Word and live as His children, no suffering will ever befall our lives. Instead of becoming disheartened by the trials God sends each of us—in accordance with His divine plan—shall we strive to accept and live through them with His support? Let us reflect upon this.

பலியையல்ல, இரக்கத்தையே விரும்புகிறேன்- ஓசியா 6:6

It is mercy I desire and not sacrifice. - Hosea 6:6

மனதில் சிந்திக்க

தண்டனையையும் பலியையும் விட இரக்கத்தையும் மன்னிப்பையுமே கடவுள் பெரிதும் விரும்புகிறார். 'எழுபது முறை ஏழு முறை' மன்னிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற அவருடைய கட்டளை, அவர் நமக்குக் காட்டும் எல்லையற்ற கிருபையைப் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது. அவர் நம்மிடம் இவ்வளவு இரக்கமுள்ளவராக இருக்கும்போது, நாம் மட்டும் மற்றவர்களை மன்னிக்க மறுப்பது தவறல்லவா?

Since God values mercy and forgiveness over punishment and sacrifice, His command to forgive 'seventy times seven' reflects the infinite grace He extends to us. If He is so merciful toward us, is it not wrong for us to withhold that same forgiveness from others?
